Hello there,

I’m an old wow player and i’m trying to take a good time on GW2 now

I’m playing a mesmer with two others friends but as we would like to upgrade our character in the same time we have to play together all the time.

Then i’m looking for a new class i could play alone, this is why i’m coming here cause I do not know which one of them i could play.

I would like to find a tanky character, with a lot of escape, but still be able to kill someone in 1v1. In fact, i love the CC, “troll” the other player, just enjoy the game when i’m playing well.

I hope, you’re understanding what I’m meaning

Remember that you can always play anywhere and with anyone as long as you are not in an area that is way above your head. You can always go back to a lower level place and play with people of that level. You will still gain experience and, with luck, many of your drops will be your level as well.

There are no actual tanks, but maybe you could try a Guardian. I have no clue what you mean by trolling other players, or at least I hope I don’t. Of course if you are talking about PvP, then I’ll leave that to those who are into that sort of a thing.

if your looking for a quote on quote tanky class all class can play it and be able to kill someone and stay alive if your looking for like a troll class just to kitten the people off you already picked it my friend the Mesmer they are annoying as kitten ad some feel almost impossible to take down or at least feel that way. if u need any more help or question just whisper me in game or send me an email up on these forums

Good point ! I didn’t know we’re still gaining xp and loot when we’re playing with friend in lower area !

I’ll probably continue my mesmer then, especially if this is the “troll class” i’m looking for
