I can’t believe it’s been over a year since I joined up.

Not regretted it once. Great group of people, both inside and outside of the game.

If you’re looking for a friendly bunch to have fun with, you’ll really be hard pressed to find a better guild.

Additional Comments: I have played many online games: LotR Online, UO, WoW, and DnD Online
But due to my job work strange hours (Security Officer) I play when I can very early in the mornings and a little in the afternoons (USA – EST) and some on weekends, I currently have a level 80 Charr Engineer (My Main) personal stories not finish, Lvl-80 Human Ranger (My 1st Character – done all the personal stories solo DIED A LOT LoL), and a Level 80 Human Elementalist – personal stories not finish.
But with the understanding —-— I HATE PvP and will not try it (and because of this I am not too interested in WvW), I got my fill of during my days of Ultima Online and World of Warcraft.
Also I am the Site Supervisor for my company at the contract that I work; so there are times I may not be able to play or have to quit suddenly i.e. if a officers call off or the site has issues, etc.
Some Warnings —-— I am a slow typer in game (have to look at the keys) this does not mean I am ignoring you, just I am busy. But I am willing to get Team-speak or something like that to help with it. Also I have been a Lone Wolf player for a long time, so I am not use to asking for help or being given it.

I replied to you already on our forums, Chaos, so I’ll leave it mostly at that for now. I did play some LotRO and DDO myself, though I tended to keep to myself or with one or two friends.

Jeety, hope you’re having fun so far! We have a few things that might come in handy for you (with the guild hall), but most require the expansion, so I’m not sure as of yet what you would be able to use. Feel free to ask any questions you have though.

Main Character: Hmm... Depends on the day/what mood I am in? Ostensibly I’d say it’s my mesmer, but I try to be proficient with each class.
Current Region/Server: NA - Crystal Desert, since launch

Interested Activities or specific things you want help with: I’m embarrassed by my minimal dungeon activity and still being fractal level 1 over three years into the game. I want to change that; dungeons are fun, in any MMO, and I have no excuse for why I’ve avoided them.

Active: I typically play after work in the evenings, except on Tuesdays, catching Teq at reset and then figuring out what to do from there. Depending on my social plans, I may or may not be on during the weekend.
Additional Comments: I go after high damage, efficient builds, such as following the meta, but I want to be part of a casual, laid-back kind of group. I don’t care what people run, as long as we aren’t wiping on bosses forever. I had great experiences in GW1 and WoW with my guilds in this regard .

Hey – was away for a bit, but have you both added now.

tbh – I don’t think we have people running dungeons as much as we used to, but it never hurts to shout in guild chat, just try to remember to let people know you’re new to it. Several of us have run dungeons a lot though. Fractals are a bit more common at the moment. And for anything else, feel free to ask any questions you have!

synk – Similar to what I said above. Mesmer/chronomancer has been my main for quite a while too, and I’ve enjoyed it immensely.

I had some luck with my first dungeon run a few years ago. Before the LFG panel, when some of us use gw2lfg to find groups. Had a rather fun mostly guardian run in TA story. Hopefully you guys get to experience some of that too.

I’m lacking in ascended gear and I want to start trying for a legendary, but I have nobody to do these with right now.

Additional Comments: I’m a FtM transperson, please be okay with this – this is relevant because I need to skype call/TS3 as I can’t type and combat at the same time, and my voice doesn’t match my pronouns. I have weird anxiety issues as well, so pugging is out of my ability, hence why I’m here asking for a regular group. If I might add some things – I’m worried if I join a guild with a TS, there may be some issues with my voice vs my pronouns, as I mentioned before. I’m very cautious about this area of things, as I’ve experienced a lot of unpleasant problems before because of it ( really personal and disrespectful questions and statements about my sex life, “how” I can be a certain way, if I’ve done this or that thing, had this or that surgery, or just plain refusing to respect how I want to be addressed ) and these are all extremely stressful, so if in any instance these start to happen, I’ll have no choice but to leave, so I really really hope this is taken into consideration of someone invites me into their guild/group. x_x;
Otherwise, I really enjoy getting on TS and doing lots of things, and I would hate for it to be ruined by that stuff.
A thing to note – Mistakes are fine, of course people will make mistakes, but it’s easy to tell mistake from deliberate disrespect. Dx

Legion runs a ‘mumble’ server, which (I’m fairly certain) is at it’s most populated around guild missions time, and ‘when needed’ at other times (I’m not much of a VoIPer myself, so again, you may find otherwise when in).

Hi Tetra! I just wanted to add some responses to the concerns you mentioned.

As Poitus said, we use Mumble for voice comms and it sees varying amounts of use outside of guild mission and raid times. But it’s there for any guild members who wish to use it.

In regards to pronouns, I think you will find it should not be a problem. It may take time for people to learn and remember the pronoun you prefer, but I don’t expect any ill intent in our chat. Everyone is welcome in O:U, and there should not be any disrespectful questions or conduct attached to that.

If you would like to know more, you can check out the Code of Conduct in the About Us section of our website, linked in my signature. That sets the expectations, which apply equally to Mumble as to any other guild chat.

Finally, if any conflicts do arise the guild officers are there to try and help resolve them in the best way possible. So please don’t hesitate to contact us directly should that happen.

Additional Comments: One issue I’ve had with groups/guilds in the past is that I feel like I’m still relatively new to most of the game, and I really, really prefer actually learning mechanics or discovering stuff together rather than someone just talking at me about how I have to do this specific thing. :P I have no problem listening to directions from commanders or anything like that, just as an example: while I was very new and leveling, I met some people who told me I should just sell off all my excess crafting mats and not craft and that was how you should play the game. I… just kinda want to play the game, even if it’s not everyone’s completely ideal version.

Re. your additional comments, I doubt you will come across any problems with your philosophy (it’s similar to my philosophy, and I’ve stuck it out here for over 2 years). If you have questions, shout them out, and lots of knowledgeable people will reply, but without shoving it down your throat or saying you have to do it this way or that way.

Additional Comments: I am a veteran MMO gamer coming from as far back as UO (which I am still playing!). I played GW2 when it first came out. I love the game, but I’m having a hard time letting go of the holy trinity. I stopped playing early in LW S2 (or it could have been late LW S1, I can’t remember) and have recently returned.

I am mostly looking for socializing during my play times. I’m very interested in the lore and story of the game, and have been known to roleplay a bit. PvE has always been my focus, including crafting, exploring, and jumping puzzles.
