Hey, I played the first 3 days once GW2 launched and then stopped, now I wanna play again and I’m just wondering about something.

How many one time events/achievements that cannot be gained anymore did I miss? also is some cool items discontinued now?

You missed the following special events / living story parts:

- Halloween
- Christmas
- Southsun Cove event that introduced Karkas
- Super Adventure Box (April special) platformer

Flame & Frost is still going on, so you have, err, 5 days to complete that although I don’t know how realistic it is if you also need to level up your character at the same time. I’d say go for it.

Cool items that are discontinued come out all the time, but many of them can still be bought from the trading post (for a LOT of gold) if you really really want them.

Ah okey, thank you. Will any of those events come back? and what lvl is needed for flame and frost?

Halloween and Wintersday stuff should return. It might not return with the same items.
Super Adventure Box will return when world 2 gets released at some unknown time in the future(there will also be a world 3).

The flame and frost things can be done starting from level 1 but some of the other things could require a higher level but no more than 25.

You didn’t miss anything. Halloween, Wintersday will return. Super Adventure Box has been said to come back when Flame and Frost is done. Whether it will or not is unclear however.

If you do the living story swiftly enough you’ll get all achievements you might miss.
