I have looked around and have not found an answer yet.

Directly to the east of the Scorchlands in Iron Marches there is a hill with a platinum mining node and black sheep on top.

I spent the better part of an hour today trying to find a way to the top.

Can anyone explain it to me?

Just bragging about being able to do it.

They give 2 possible starting locations, which makes me presume that there are multiple paths to reaching the node. Further, I recommend you get the Experimental Rifle which can help with reaching far locations if you aren’t on a profession with skills that launch you.
