Stuck with One Gem
You can transfer it into gold (or maybe, 2 silver) by clicking the bottom right icon “Custom Exchange/Amount” when on the gold to gem transfer page of the gem store.
omg, of course.
#morningbeforecoffeenoobmoments.
thank you.
so, yeah, this didn’t work.
1 gem isn’t enough to get the minimum amount of gold (something like 9 gems). the custom trade option wont give me the few silver that this gem is worth.
You could buy more gems with gold and buy something, even if it’s not ideal. But if you really want to get rid of it, it might be worth doing.
Get more gems with your achi chests too

If you don’t mind losing a bit of gold in the process, you could do something like this.
Convert gold into the amount of gems you need to cover the “minimum” of the conversion back from gems to gold. Buy just enough so that the amount of gems you get plus the one gem you have will hit the min requirement, then convert everything back to gold again.
I’m almost at 12.5 achievements so the next chest to give gems is a ways off.
it looks like the best way is to save up gold and convert for something cheap, like a black lion key.
thanks for the suggestions everyone.
