When you attack an opponent, the damage numbers that pop up based on your normal damage?
[ Damage done = (weapon damage) * Power * (skill-specific coefficient) ]

Or does it display the damage you inflicted specifically on that opponent?

[ Damage done = (weapon damage) * Power * (skill-specific coefficient) / (target’s Armor) ]

I would assume that the numbers that pop up in combat are what you’ve actually dealt to that specific target, but I can’t confirm for sure.

I would assume the latter as well. Without knowing something’s hp before hand there is no way of knowing. I would suggest testing in sPvP with someone.

I couldn’t possibly think of a reason that the damage wouldn’t be the damage dealt to that opponent specifically.

I’m pretty sure it’s specific. Run around and hit a mob of blah blah level and then hit a rabit or pig.. Your #‘s increase when you hit the lesser mob. That is pretty much proof that the #’s flying are relative to the target you are dealing damage to.
