Hey guys,

Quick question about the pvp locker and the weapon skins it has….

Can all the weaponskins in the Pvp Locker be found in the PvE world for use in WvW?

Im convinced they can because, in the PvP locker there is something i think is called (bad with names lol) “PvP Frozen Longsword” and i found a weapon crafting recipe for something called the “Corrupted Avenger” with the same skin! in Frostgorge Sound from a karma vendor.

Specifically, im trying to find the skin of the “PvP Majestic Sword” (Long with no handle guard and real sleek.) But i have no idea where to start looking or even if it exists within a recipe or w/e.

I have to bump this. I’m looking for the exact same sword (PVP Majestic Sword) for PvE use, and its apparently not called “Majestic Sword”.

Could we please get some uniformity in regards to naming? Ideally the exact same appearance should carry the exact same name to prevent this kind of needless confusion.

Same thing for armor, they use different names. Not sure of the reasoning behind it, but perhaps they didn’t want them the same name though… That’s something for ANet to explain haha

Almost all of them you can get in pve . The “pact” weapons seem not to be optainable in pve at the moment.
The name thing was also pretty confusing for me.

The whole different names for PvP and PvE gear is stupid…

but if Anet does continue to make additional content through expansions and stuff and refuses to make things simpler on us by using the same names for the gear, they’re only going to make things more difficult for themselves by having to come up with even more names (that no one even really cares about since it’s just skins we want) for any and all of the new skins they provide at that time.

Unless they plan to go in a stupider direction and try using names from PvP gear currently for PvE gear in the future and vice versa which I gotta say at this point I wouldn’t find too surprising. It’s 2 months after release and no one gets the name mismatch yet, they obviously don’t care about our struggles to find what we want else they’d have acted already so maybe this is the ‘endgame content’ until expansions and whatnot comes out.

I first looked on GW2DB and only the pvp model was showing under “same model as”. Entered it into search, and it was a 3D model of a standard greatsword, but people commenting that it is the wrong 3D image.
So i checked Guildhead and it is called Dawn of Rage
