Guild Wars 2

Hi, i know this topic has been covered a few times but not that recently and there have been some new additions, and it’s Christmas, so I ain’t buying! I currently have a mouse with pretty LED lights and a scroll wheel and a left and right click button, yup, it’s right outta the late 90’s. I need a new mouse and I’ve been looking at the Logitech G600 and the Razer Naga 2014 but there are newer versions of each. I’m also levelling 4 chars at once, so I want a nice generic mouse that can deal with an Ele, a Mes, a Guardian and a Necro. I realise any mouse I buy will be a significant change to what I currently have but I’m willing, in fact I want to learn and to get better. Any suggestions would be warmly welcomed and I guess a significant question is, should I just go into a shop and try them in my hand? Thanks in advance for your collective wisdom.

I never thought I would be into a gaming mouse. I didn’t think I would be able to get used to all the buttons. I got tired of trying to deal with all the keyboard commands and got a Logitech G600. I love it. It took some getting used to and fiddling around to bind the buttons I was most comfortable with. Now I hit those thumb buttons when needed without even having to think about it. It was well worth it. It fits my hand well and is comfortable to use for long periods of time. It makes a good non-gaming mouse as well.

I use sharkoon fire glider if you want a cost effective (it’s cheap) it has two keys i use 1-5 normal and then keybind shift and ctrl to the thumb keys then i set it up as slot and healing shift+1-5 and ctrl as my roll and i find this effective and easy to play with.

I just have to recommend the Naga, I love mine, and I cant see myself playing very well without it.

the joystick is a little wonky when going down (it’s low down so if you have a big thumb it’s likely already touching the bottom of the side tray) but other than that it’s fine. I prefer it over the naga because the buttons are spread out more and you can’t really misclick something due to all the buttons being in the same location.

I have to say razer naga, when I sent mien in for repairs ( right click was slowly dieing) I couldn’t play any game till I got it back, after getting used to a mouse like that no way in hell I could go back to keyboard commands.

Why Razer, because I love their quality and the one time I had to send anything in it was not questions asked and fast turn around.

Being a ele player my self between my orbweaver and naga it makes it so much easier to play. can be moving, jumping, changing attunement and casting all at the same time.
