IDK have not visited the airship, what’s inside? why are people happy to have cheap passes?

It’s a convenience area. A small instance with all possible services (crafting stations, merchants, BL representative, bank etc. etc.) that can only be accessed with the pass. It’s easier to use since all services are stacked in the same place.

Or… you could park your toons in The Grove – all of the crafters/trainers/bank/BL reps are on the same level IIRC.

From the map it looks like the only things it has which are missing from the Vigil Keep are a laurel trader, trait retrainer and apparently there’s crafting stations.

As other people have said it’s basically another Royal Terrace. The main appeal isn’t what’s there but that you can double click a pass and get there instantly whereas to get to the Vigil Keep you have to go through the Heart of the Mists.

actually, I hear it’s slightly better than royal terrace: it has a daily activity person.

One thing that might be easy to miss is that if you speak to the helmsman you can travel to any city, so it has the universal gate like in the Terrace.
