What to do with t6 mats?
If your 120% sure you never want to get ascended armor or weapons then you don’t need to keep them. I would hang on to them if you have the space to spare. Later on you might decide to craft some ascended gear and wish you had them.
Oh…dragonite, fragments and dust. Ibthought you were talking about the regualr t6 mats. I was wondering why you weren’t selling them and making mad amounts of cash, or making legendaries. Yeah everyone has a bunch and nothing to do with them. Yet.
It’s the chain I beat you with until you
recognize my command!”
Those are actually T7/Ascended materials. T6 mats are entirely different and are very valuable.
Oh and ‘a stack’ IS 250, so I doubt you have 250 stacks of anything.
I got the stacks from being a highly active wvw player and then non-stop karma training eotm since release but that’s beside the point.
Is trying to craft this stuff into something else (not ascended gear) to reduce inventory space a viable option or will that cost too much money?
I heard from someone that anet said they will release some sort of dump for this but I dunno if that’s true or not.
I used them to level crafting 450-475, but if you don’t want ascended probably you don’t care about that either.
Keep on to them. you never know when they change somehing and they become valuable. Make an alt, bag him up and store them there.
There are a handful of consumable that require the refined versions of those items. (Refining them does require at least 1 craft at 450, though.) More uses could be added in the future as well.

If you really don’t ever want to create ascended weapons then refining will only cost you gold and karma. Also you need at least 450 in a crafting profession to refine them.
However you should maybe consider creating at least ascended weapons at some point, they give at least a 5% boost to the weapon skills while armor really don’t gives much at all for the cost.
Best MMOs are the ones that never make it. Therefore Stargate Online wins.
I am right on the brink of destroying half a dozen stacks of my Bloodstone dust…..It taking up half a bank tab and I have no intention of going for Ascended armor.
Somehow I know the minute I do, they will raise Cooking and Jewelry to 500 and some amazing recipe will take 1000 Bloodstone dust per item…..

Could you hurry up with that then? For … science?
“Whose Charr is this?”- “Ted’s.”
“Who’s Ted?”- “Ted’s dead, baby. Ted’s dead.”
Never. Throw. Anything.
This philosophy brought me a ton of cash when Silk price went up with Ascended Crafting and my bank guild was full of Silk stacks I got from playing.

I would never just DESTROY something that has an actual use for someone other than myself (and can be SOLD to them). If I could Vendor Bloodstone Dust, I’d be all over the NPCs.
