So hey, I’m trying to configure what the top armor is for my Warrior. I’m currently using Berserker’s Draconic Armor and I think that’s the top for exotic in terms of Power/Precision/Crit. Damage
So I was wandering, since Ascended gear is a step above Exotic, for my warrior (whom I’m playing with the pre-mentioned combination of stats), Zojja’s Ascended Armor Set should be the top I can get for now, right? In other words by crafting it I will be using THE TOP gear in terms of stats, right?
I know from my search that Exotic and Ascended gear has so little stat difference but even so I wanna have the best possible stats.
So until some Legendary armor pops up, Zojja’s Armor Set is the best there in terms of Power/Precision/Crit. Damage?

Legendary is never better, it is just always equal to whatever is best plus sparkles and the ability to change stats.

Keep in mind some changes have been announced to critical damage (and so beserker). The reason is that Anet feels that beserker is currently too much OP and they want to promote other armor sets. the first changes can be expected in the next few months. Just warning you now. It prolly will be that beserker is still pretty good, but if it stays the best pick, well nobody knows.

Berserker gear will still be the top damage

DPS will still be the meta

All the nerf will do is slow down optimal runs by 10% or so

I’d wait until the patch hits first unless you’re prepared to re-craft if the nerf is excessively hard.

OK then, I’ll stick with my Exotic Berserker till the new patch, even though I believe that even if Anet nerf Berserker it will still be the top for DPS. Thanks for your answers.

P.S If somebody could clarify if for now before the patch, Zojja’s armor is the best in terms of berserker gear I would be very happy. It would end all my questions (and believe me they weren’t just a few when I started)

For now? Yes, it’s the best berserker gear available.

+1 to this, but everyone who has zerker gear will probably be able to get a free stat change if it’s THAT detrimental like when anet took away MF from items
