Guild Wars 2

Hi, i play gw2 on my laptop to farm and watch movies while in bed. So last night i adjusted my gw2 window size to half of my screen’s size. It works wonder until i closed the client and went to bed. This morning i open gw2 and log in, the launcher client still look the same but when i press play and it goes to the game client the window size is changed way too small and it doesnt even show anywhere on my screen to change its window size. So Im wondering if theres other way to change the window size out side of the game. Help pls!!!

I adjust GW2 to fit half of the screen regularly as well.

You should still be able to click and drag the side of the window to re-size it to your liking; I just tested it and I am still able to do that. Try dragging from the corners of the window if the sides don’t work.

If you can’t do that, attempt to drag the entire window itself by clicking and dragging the top of the window, just to move it a little in case it was somehow stuck. Then try dragging from the side or corners of it again.

Alternatively, you can try using the options in-game; by going to Options → Graphic Options → Display: Resolution: → Adjust that to see if you can change the size.

Thank you for trying to help, the problem is the gw2 client is totally none existent on my screen lol, thats why i cant drag the corners to adjust the window size nor can i get in game to change the setting.

Once you start GW2, can you see it on your task bar?

If so, you should be able to right click on that and choose the maximize option which will make it take over your whole screen.

Hopefully from there you will be able to fix whatever is causing the problem.
