I recently had a talk with a couple of my fellow SPvP players… and we all came to agree on the need and wonder about the lack of a bank in SPvP.

Why is this still not implemented? Is it that hard or do you simply want us to purchase gems…?

No the reason initially was everyone would teleport to the mists for free to go use the bank and they didn’t want that but the counter to that now is, everyone is teleporting to the mists to get the new traits now so….. whatchaganadoaboutdat?

You could do the same going to WvW and using a crafting station. If that is the reason is pretty lame.

It’s real simple. You charge a waypoint fee to go to the Mists. PvP only players wouldn’t have to deal with this as they are always in The Mists anyways. PvPers shouldn’t have to warp away to use a bank and then warp back.

There needs to be a Forge, Bank, BLTC, and Guild Amenities. Taking the Forge out and not adding that stuff was ill advised.

I really want a bank and a TP.

A bank is a must, I can give a crap about the rest.

we need a bank in pvp since 1,5 year…….but who cares? even in gw 1 we had to wait more than 2 years to have a bank in ha. So i dont think anet is smart enough to give us one…..

Before this patch, the bank wasn’t fully needed in sPvP, we had the wardrobe closet to keep all our skins and weapons as well as lots of other miscellaneous stuff. With the introduction of the new wardrobe and the removal of those closets to add NPCs and adding of PvE drops to PvP it has became a need. And I truly think more of just an over-sight.

Now adding a forge and BLTC might be to much, as that will make HotM the new LA, and that is not their goal in this, so I would look at just getting the bank as it is really the main thing missing in HotM. Adding a Black Lion Trader could work, but I think it could potential again make this the hub town with a Trader and Bank, thus why I say a bank is needed and the rest don’t matter. If you need to go buy something off the TP, then jump to PvE, if you want something in PvP out of your bank I don’t see the reason to be pushed to PvE.

Though I also understand that insulting the devs will get us nowhere in this problem, so if you want to keep that attitude I doubt we will ever see a bank in HotM. It wasn’t them not being smart-enough, it was them over-thinking it and trying to avoid it becoming a hub city.
