Balancing is not the answer
Yes and no.
1. There is many easy to use skills that people dont know how to counter, yet is still problem at low skill levels because if one class requires 1 button and other class requires piano lessons then obviously the first one will kill everyone.
2. There is skills that are almost uncounterable, i personally atm have only one problem in this game – shortbow 3, give me suggestions if you have.
So far ive tried to counter timing – time between evades, doesnt work because bad thiefs spam it randomly and unpredictably, good thiefs spam it when they see that i am casting something.
Try to preassure thief so much that he runs out of initiative – well the problem is that my class runs on cooldowns, and only thing i can spam enough is auttoattack, which is projectile and melee attack, both of these he can avoid without even using nr3 sb.
So do you have some ideas how to counterplay shortbow? Cause i cant find any counters to EVADE.
Not all builds can be countered for the entire length of a match all the time.
The fun part about games, I agree, is countering or ouplaying your enemy.
Basically if your foe pops scissors, you quickly use rock. Then finish him with paper, because you know he just used scissors.
Rock paper scissors is a triangle. Guildwars1 had almost a perfect circle in countering. A player used fire, but your team forgot to take fire extinguisher. So you used shotgun because well.. little chance that your enemies brought a riot shield. Some skills do not have a counter and are considered OP.
