settler/cleric druid can bunker way better than a celestial tempest. oh and sentinel tempest is complete garbage – the healing output is really bad.
even soldier scrapper is a lot better at bunkering than tempest.

settler/cleric druid can bunker way better than a celestial tempest. oh and sentinel tempest is complete garbage – the healing output is really bad.
Tempest does more than healing, spams Frost, Magnetic and Shocking Aura on their team constantly while kittenting out protection from Overload Earth and massive damage from Overload Air spam.

Lol he is. Unless you count thing like “Overload Water and heals for 300hp per second” as impressive.
Druid and Herald outclass Tempest by far for survivability.
Gray out the HP for future condition damage

yeah and that’s something ele has always been capable of doing… druid has aoe slow and daze which can have a bigger impact in a teamfight when used right.

He is not wrong… also, Bunker Chronomancer is up there as well. When those two specs start catching on, the forums will be flooded with tears.

I’ve been playing a bunkery/support tempest mostly since HoT and tried all kinds of different builds, this one’s currently my favourite:

It’s a good support in teamfights, one of the best probably, but it’s not as strong as current other builds in 1v1-situations.
I think the build is currently a bit behind reaper and druid, but not by too much.
More reason to play Stronghold over Conquest. =P
