I’ll throw my hat into this.

Tier 1: Scrapper, Herald
Tier 2: DH, Reaper, Tempest
Tier 3: Druid, Chrono, Daredevil
Tier 4: Berserker

DH is a powerful build no doubt about it.

But it doesn’t deserve to be in God Tier based on the principle of how mind numbing easy and cheap it is.

It can get away being shallow, lacking in depth because someone from the balance team inadvertently programmed it to have a higher damage coefficient.

1st Tier): DH, Reaper, Herald
2nd Tier): Scrapper, Dadredevil, Druid
3rd Tier): Tempest, Chrono
4th Tier:) Berserker

Druid AA is very strong, and their pet is unlikely to die. Constant dps check. They are not forced to run s/wh either. I have friends who play druid builds without any of those weapons and it still works like a charm. All in all, druid is way better than tempest.

I won’t argue the rest then, assuming ele is your main. My experience with tempest is mainly vs them (and some lengthy discussions with them) and they’re usually tougher cookies to crack than druid, but I suppose that’s because we simply have experiences on different classes.

As for the druid AA, a majority of my time is spent on PP DD thief. Anything channeled (hint: their auto) is just asking to get instantly bursted down (impacting disruption has no ICD and headshots costs only 4 ini). The impacting disruption + nearly 8-9k unloads is almost insta kill. If they sic their shadow scale on me, BP+dodge through to instantly break (same applies to rev, but they can eat a headshot too). DH is also ezpz. The only class that gives me a smidge of trouble 1v1 is tempest, but even they eventually go down without a struggle.

Guys I really think that Heralds are more powerful than DH yet there are far far far far far more people playing DH than the former.

Does anyone know why that is?

Brand new class you need to learn from scratch compared to a class that has a huge audience pre HOTs and just got a large buff on damage.

Is it just me who doesn’t find DH scary to play against? I’d much rather fight a DH than a Scrapper or Chrono… I play reaper, Herald and scrapper.

Well I play every class tbh, whichever I’m in the mood for at the time, I have the least problems vs DH. Probably coz. I play one, I know how to wreck them and what to avoid. Warriors are like annoying flies you can’t escape from.

Don’t want to interfere with all this intelligence flow in the thread, but can anyone be so kind and link that “god tier scrapper build”, you know… for science.

You have no problems against druid, DH and tempest 1v1 with pp dd thief? Honestly, im surprised. Care to add me up and show me how you do it? It would be educational.

You need to specify which PVP mode. In Stronghold I want at least one if not two Berzerkers every time. Steam roll all NPCs, and Lords room in seconds. I wish there were more people who rolled Berzerker in Stronghold. I would put them in God tier for Stronghold (but yes, last place in Conquest).

Similarly while I would put Chronomancer as “Good” in Conquest I would put it as Kinda Viable in Stronghold. I’ve yet to see a build that made them worth bringing on your team in Stronghold.

Yes I am quibbleing… but we all know this is just a chance for kitten players to whine about how godly ‘x’ profession is and how kitten-poor ‘y’ profession is.
