I dont need to kill anyone , i play bunker staff ele , all i need is heal ,remove and survive condi bomb ,waiting my friend to finish .And if my friend busy , i just drop my enemy down with my aoe , I finish or they run .

This made me laugh so hard
The fact that people still compare rank to skill is quite saddening.

Ive been playing condi war. Yes you can faceroll over noobs, but once you start playing against good players you have to play smart to win 1v1s, doesn’t matter their class.
My condi war only has 19k health and cleansing ire is my only active condi clear so it’s not exactly a bunker. And I only have 1 block sword #5. All you have to do is dodge or block my pin down and impale, stay out of LB burst circle, and use your condi clears if I land flurry on you, and you’ll be just fine.

He was serious. me and angel if I dare say are about equally skilled and fought a few times in yoloq, though I think he won more (I play glass guard) its still pretty even. “dodging” combustive shot though lmao that’s kittening hard to predict.

You don’t understand a single thing, condition war kill any build without condition remove. shatter mesmer, thief or engi without AR.
The thing is, this build is completely useless in high end tpvp, go watch any top player tpvp, you will never see a condition war on there team, instead they have hambow.
condition war does not bring any burst, a bunker bunk better then condition bunker war and it does not provide any CC.
you are encountering a lot of condition wars that’s because you are in the low end rating.
lol >.< yea I was mostly serious.
When I first rolled condi warrior I facerolled noobs for awhile just spamming skills.
But against good players it’s wayyy different.
hint – after I swap to sword I can’t remove condis for at least 5 seconds unless I hit you with flurry which is melee range. Hint #2 if I don’t have berserker stance on and I use flurry or combustive shot, I can’t remove condis for several seconds. Hint #3 after I use sword #5 I have no way to block damage except to dodge (or blind you with longbow 4).

^^ what he said condition warrior is not easy to play at higher levels. It’s not even the most optimal. its a low skill floor so its easy to roll over noobs with it but its also got a glass ceiling. It does not serve the same team fight purpose as a hambow or shout warrior. That being said it can be effective even at high levels, but it’s not easy.
The best roles for a condi warrior in PvP are:
1. pressuring far point 1v1. can solo almost anything and create a 4v3 for your team to cap and hold 2 points. In certain situations even better than a decap engi because condi warrior doesn’t just decap, he kills the person on far and caps it until 2+ come to take it back.
2. holding home temporarily. Condi warrior can hold home 1v1 against almost anyone. And decap engis?? No biggie if I am planning holding home I can go rampage instead of signet of fury, and it gives me 64 total seconds of consecutive stability. When 2 enemies show up though I have to get off point and start kiting to survive unless I have allies nearby.
3. suppressing DPS in teamfights. thief, mesmer, ele or anyone that is high DPS the condi warrior can single them out and pressure them away from the team fight. This includes people above points raining down. Let’s say ele above mid at temple the warrior can shoot up there and make them back off, then with high mobility can run up there quickly if needed.
4. quick reaction. 2 at home on your bunker? Any warrior with a sword is very fast – faster than a hambow – and can reach the fight more quickly to help out.
5. stomping and cleaving. enough stability to easily stomp guards, wars, engi, ranger, necro. enough dps (and poison) to easily cleave downed thieves, mesmers, eles. (I prefer to cleave them because they tend not to use their #2 until a stomp begins, and by the time they use it they have too many condis that they will die no matter where they end up)
and then you met a terror necro. bonus points if he’s running that condi reflect signet
[Mada] Apocryfia
and then you met a terror necro. bonus points if he’s running that condi reflect signet
lmao but warrs only run like 3 condis anyway which the could cleanse in one cleansing ire. plus with “64 seconds of stability” I doubt terror is gonna be ticking much when corrupt boon is off cd!

It is not I that have to dodge your Pin Down or Impale.
It’s you that you must miss it.
That’s the problem with those two skills.
The build is also solid for snaring opponents with immobilize(Pindown, Flurry, maybe Throw Bolas or the leg specialist trait).
As one person mentioned it lacks burst damage, which is mostly true unless you spec enough power/crt dmg to make good use of Arcing Arrow and Final Thrust. However it is excellent at sustained pressure whether through snares or additional conditions. The bleeds are relatively easy to re-apply so you can consistently pressure a target until they run out of cooldowns to deal with your condition spam.
I think it’s a pretty decent build, even against good players and in tPvP. Just time your skills well and abuse the build’s upside.

i have 19k health 3200 armor (3400 if dolyak signet on and not on CD) and 300 healing power from traits.
almost all of my healing is my passive signet which ONLY out-heals other heals in battles that last longer than 30 seconds. I am very susceptible to bursts and I have to mitigate them very carefully. I find myself using sword leap defensively a lot to jump away from burst/AoE areas.
it’s really not OP against good players but it sure is a hell of a lot more fun to play than hambow.

You run healing sig, adrenal health, and cleansing ire yes? Then you are built for attrition and regen. So what you’re saying is, you have health sustain AND condition burst (which goes against the concept of conditions).

my health sustain is not that wonderful. cleansing ire and adrenal health do not synergize with each other very well. If I clear condis i lose the regen, and AH only procs every 3 seconds which means very rarely since I don’t save my adrenaline except at the beginning of a 1v1 with a condi class. If adrenal health was an active trait I wouldn’t choose it, but it’s passive. Healing signet is my only purposefully chosen sustainability and the ONLY reason I don’t use healing surge instead is because usually my adrenaline isn’t full when I need it. Since most of my fights last less than 30 seconds, healing surge would be much better if I always had adrenaline when I needed it.

When i started condi war I used lyssa and settler’s and sword/shield longbow. It was very sustainable but took forever to kill people.
Then I switched to sword/sword rabid and undead and now I am not nearly as sustainable but I can kill people much faster. The playstyle is far different as well it used to be keep condi pressure and outlast, and now it’s more kite, burst, kite, burst.
Well dude when you fought me it was pretty much the attrition game. You don’t have that much consistent condi application so it’s half the time me trying to damage you while you just tank it and the other half avoiding half the applications and cleansing the rest.

No. I know a very good condition warrior that loses to no one. He only loses to a necro that doesn’t play anymore and muffinz. It’s rare that he loses to them to.
Conditions and tankiness go hand in hand. The longer the player survives, the more condition pressure they can output. Conditions bypass defense stats and protection boon, so it is the mode of choice for tanks to deal damage.

but there are 3 general categories of condition players. Burst, attrition, and supplemental.
Burst condition classes are like terror necro and my personal condi warrior build, that can kill a player from conditions often as fast as a zerker spec can direct damage them down. I also have played a P/D condi thief build that falls under this category and I’ve seen engineers that would qualify as well.
Attrition builds are the most hand-in-hand with tanky-ness. Their conditions take a long time to kill but they do more damage than they take so eventually they outlast their opponent. This would be a settler amulet sword/sword LB warrior, most spirit rangers, and some hybrid necro specs.
Supplemental conditions are more of the hybrids that have good direct damage but they have some conditions that compliment their builds strengths or make up for its weaknesses. Example a thief’s blinds or a mesmer clone’s condis on death or a hammer warrior’s longbow.
This topic is about condition warriors. War is an abbreviation for warrior in this topic.
For warriors, conditions and tankiness go hand in hand, because the longer the warrior can survive, the more condition pressure he can output. People often argue “condition builds should not have so much survivability” but for warriors, survivability is directly correlated with condition pressure. Warriors don’t have stealths like mesmers, and don’t have a second HP bar like necros. Mesmers and Necros can build glassy with conditions, and they can get away with it due to their class mechanics giving them “survivability”. For warriors, survivability = tankiness, so no survivability = no condition pressure, so that’s why they have tankiness stats inherently built in.
tl;dr balanced.

in general you are right but my warrior only has 19k health and 1 block and 1 blind to mitigate with. The way I’m built is more similar to a condi engi than a hambow warrior.
From pure armor I’m more tanky than your average bear but I can get bursted down really fast if I’m not careful.

So you cannot remove boons on Shatter, congratulations you are now unable to do the one thing mesmers do well. Even if we play your way please compare removing Condis every 20/40secs (Mesmer) to 5/10sec (Warrior) and im not even mentioning immunity or you get to remove up to 3 at that rate.
iDisenchanter is so underrated. Bounces 5- times, removes 2 condis AND boons per hit, attacks every 4 secs and is on a 20-16 sec CD.

I actually don’t care if he would, maybe, win 1v1…this is a team game with specs built around teamfighting (And many ppl usually fail to understand this simple point, aka hj heroes “come 1v1 i’ll killl yaaa noob!!1!11” while losing at -300) and the only objective is conquest, a spec with no point presence basing its damage on ppl fighting back (Killing clones, confusion and so on..) is just worthless on every possible role, if i can get my job of capping far done without wasting cds fighting a retrd is even better..if i want to play 1v1 i can buy a console playing tekken all day long xD Teams with pu mesmers are already gonna fail so np..

yes PU mesmer is good in team fights not at capping points. i wreck mesmers that aren’t PU build unless they are purely better than i am.
