Congrats to TCG for winning the EU Tournament of Legends
Sizer will finally have Bolt and stop complaining when he sees one in the 1vs1 server
Well played guyz
#elepocallypse
Congrats ladies.
Grats for winning, and grats for the team comp; no spirit ranger, using ele and mesmer.
#allisvain
Indeed! Congrats guys! Was impressive watching you run through the tournament without droping a single game.
Congrats to all participants and thank you for your full cooperation during the 2 day event! You were all fantastic to work with and we hope to see you soon!

Congrats to both teams, and good job to Anet. Balance will never be perfect (a near-impossible task), but I have to say, I think the patch was a huge step forward. Everyone that worked on the feature patch should be very proud of their work, so thank them for me if you can Grouch. GW2 PvP has never been more fun for me than it is right now, and it seems that every class has at least one top-tier viable spec, most have 2-3. That’s pretty awesome.
Also, great job to the shoutcasters. Formal Sireph = best Sireph!

Gz guys very well played!
Awesome tourney, didn’t get to see nearly enough of it, but the Solo Queue/MiM matches were excellent.
And TCG with those rotations… schooling people. Helseth’s teams always seem to be so tight w/ their rotations.
Sizer was on his game this tourney, wonder how many 2/0/0/6/6 thieves will start showing up in matches.
Thanks to BLU and Sireph (Suit & Tie OP) for the shout casting…
Josh, any chance we could have some of these matches linked in the “New to PvP” sticky?
I agree w/ Kensuda, this patch has had way, way more go right than wrong. Good stuff.
TCG too strong
Hello frands! Vee Wee here #1 Engi NA and world first rank 80!
There should be a match between the winners of the NA and EU tournament! The winning team receives another legendary for each member! #Veesports
Wahoo! Bye frands!
That’d only be fair to both sides if it were a LAN tournament like PAX hint hint
Congrats TCG!
GJ to everyone that played in or ran the tournament! Was fun to watch
GG nice cashprize. lol
Must admit today’s games were exceptional and the finals were crazy good!

No one wants to see NA get massacred, least of all ANET who need your customer $$$.
Awesome Elementalist and Guardian plays from TCG. Great teamwork. Totally deserved!

TCG were clearly the best team of the tournament and deserved the win. They were leagues ahead of most of their competition when it came to rotating and holding points.
But honestly, the number of “to 0” wins shows that GW2 is just way too snowbally for a competitive game. Downed-State and the upper-hand after winning a team-fight, making it easy to rotate for the next incoming means that a losing team barely has a chance of catching up.
I also didn’t like how basically everyone was rolling with extremely durable “bunker” builds.
#llamaprophecies
Congratulations to TCG for winning the whole thing, they really played well and earned the right to be EU’s Legends of the mists!
Also a huge thanks to all the teams for playing as well!
Also thanks to Blu/Sireph, the Authorized Shoutcasters, DPS, our ESL admins for running the tourney!
I can’t wait till next weeks NA Legends of the mists tourney!
#HypeTrain!
I missed all the fun, anyone could tell me where i can watch the replays ?
Congrats to both teams ~
It was an awesome match! GZ to both teams
Really nice finals! Congrats to both teams!
Crazy come back from 55hp Monks on the last map, it was really exciting and was so close!. The surprisingly thing about 55hp Monks team was, once they get all 3 points, they can keep them really for a long time!
TCG had strong teamfights! It was difficult for 55hp Monks to surprise them on the 2nd map like they did on the 1st and 3rd maps! “Legacy of the Foefire” is a big map and is much more about teamfights, it also requires high mobility to quickly rotate.
I’m also happy to see that the winner team’s warrior wasn’t a “hambow”

Amazing two days. My first taste of sPvP viewing and I’m hooked now. Great shout casting, great atmosphere, and very good play from The Civilised Gentlemen! Congrats!

Thx for the nice organisation @ Blu and the ToL Team.
That’d only be fair to both sides if it were a LAN tournament like PAX hint hint
But if it’s like PAX TCG would need to find an alternate.
This was a great tournament. Things I learned:
—#llamaprophecies and a lot of luck gets you a new finisher
—Precursors are not just for PvE players anymore
—If you lose, just do a Posi (joking aside, I hope that guy is banned from all future ANET sponsored tournaments. What a disgrace.)
—Mesmers are way more valuable to top teams than to average teams
—Eles are back
Great tournament and I’m looking forward to NA.
Congrats, best team eu
I’m sorry, but TCG needs to be nerfed. :P

Super Epic Last game from both teams! Grats to TCG!

Well, the shoutcasters made it sound like he threw a tantrum and refused to play in the match which would have decided 3rd place because Car Crash got beaten so bad in the semi finals.
were can I watch the finals?

Hard ragequit, apparently.
On topic: I really liked TCG comp, I hope we see more eles and mesmers around
i take the return of the holy trinity over spiritrezzing anyday.
Great games, even of scores werent as tight, the games were amazing and full of comebacks.
We thank you and appreciate the organizers of the tournament! It went flawlessly except a few DCs. I see huge improvement in both community and organizing post-last patch. Great work, keep it up ANET and the casting crew. Thanks Blu and Sireph.
(it aint helseths team tho!;) ).

Agreed, I think this right here is one of the positive things to take away from this tournament. The winning comp had no hambow, necro, bomb-nade engi or spirit ranger. Sizer’s Acro/Trickery S/D (2-0-0-6-6) still has far too many evades, but I’m willing to look past it since by GW2’s standards TCG’s comp had very little cheese overall. Had Sizer gone man mode and played D/P Trickery, TCG’s comp would have been even more salute-worthy. But even as it is, big props to all of them for paving the way for a more old school power-based meta.
Not to mention Helseth can finally rock the Bifrost and stop begging bullying people for gold on his stream. #Rainbowfootsteps

Filthy casual, 6k sPvP games
Just 2 days ago i won 7 matches out of 8 with my guild members while we were trying new rotations on points, and i thought “ho man we should have joined the tournament” and then i see the match…
i’m so glad i didn’t subscribed my team in the tournament lol, this guys are out of the world..
R.I.P. my beloved Meh-Mer, the most hated class by ANET itself.
Winner of the first HxH 1v1 tournament! WOOT!
That Elementalist never died! NERF
That’s only because elementalists tend to be better players since they’ve had to deal with being the underdog and still deal with complicated mechanics and rotations. All that a necro, warrior or thief ever does 80% of the time is auto attack and dodge…. or run away.

I am not sure how effective the 2-0-0-6-6 build is. It’s something I came up with a couple of weeks before patch and told people to try it because I don’t play S/D but nobody really listened and thought I was silly for it – Haha. I tried it but felt like it didn’t do enough damage but like I said, I don’t play S/D.
Gratz to TCG.
Inspiring… That’s the word I had with watching the finals!
Both teams comps, rotations and class gameplay was a joy to watch, and as said earlier, a big inspiration to me and a lot of people I know!
And by that I do not mean to copy builds/gameplay – I meant to be inspired to train with our team, finding the right builds and classes suited for us, and getting better in the hope that we might ever touch the area of play displayed on the finals (and all the matches that were streamed really)
A big thanks for the tournament and congratulations TCG!

You should have joined. A lot of the original 64 teams probably were just “trying their luck”. Obviously with bad luck you would have been paired with one of the more “pro” teams on round one and get stomped, but hey that’s life

Yeah when you look at the finals you can clearly see that’s all their warriors and thieves are doing.

It’s Chad, for godness sake !
Grats on the victory guys.
I can see why my team leader was bricking it,when our name was next to yours one day in the brackets page during the lead up to the game.
