I just started sPvP a few weeks ago after being a WvW player for months. I really enjoyed Skyhammer because of the ascetics and positional awareness. Can someone explain to me what some people do not like it?

Because something other than mindless AOE condi spam is rewarded. Launches/ Knocbacks and pulls are actually useful here and scary where as in other maps they are annoyances in 1v1s and a little more troublesome in team fights.

I hate hate hate absolutely Skyhammer in SoloQ rotation.
