The problem is the game is such a clusterkitten that watching it falls between boring and wtfjusthappened, neither of which are entertaining, especially when a shoutcaster is struggling to explain all the passive procs that took someone from 100%-downed.

I’m sure you guys will be E-sports soon but until than may I suggest not hosting these types of things and sticking to talking about future balance changes.

I might not be able to watch it but the rank point weekend sounds great!
And i’d love to hear about what’s going to happen with glory.
Still have 150 of those boosters… but i keep getting them back from daily/monthly and tourny wins. Can they please drop less or get a better use?

What makes a team is synergy, both in player mindsets and build

The devs have much more experience in that, but since Allie has informed us of the Playground Captain format, my original fears have been lifted.

lol funny how one of the “big name players” of the community can still go on racist rants in map chat with no punishment and now they’re featured in this lovely scrimmage.

some of the only things we care about are balance changes, new skills, new modes. everything else is just fluff. it’s well into Feb and we’ve received only crumbs of information.

i will definitely not be watching this.

I wish they would too because I have class on Fridays when they do the Ready Up. What you can do is go to GW2 Reddit after it’s over and on the front page there will be a summary of the important information.

just being curious… any reason why the dev-stream from jan 31st is still not uploaded in your arenanet youtube channel? Did you stop publishing the streams afterwards? Which would be a pity, in Europe, the stream is live from about 11 pm, which is too late to watch for many ppl, so we kinda rely on the youtube release later on. ;o(

So basically I’m not going to learn anything from watching this stream, ok I will give it a miss.

Here’s a list of questions that I’ve either read on forums or came up with. I’m assuming that most of these are probably going to be addressed at today’s stream, but just in case:

-What happens with unopened chests after the 18th March patch ?
-What happens with items from those unopened chests ?
-What happens with mystic forge materials and glory boosters ?
-What happens with our collections ? I distinctly remember a dev hinting something along the lines of completing collections being beneficial in the future. Is that still the case ?
-Will we be able to use PvP armor in PvE ? (tbh. 60 gold for an armor that I could use only in PvP is too steep for my tastes, but I’d open my wallet in a second if I could use it in PvE as well)
-Does cultural armor bought in PvP count towards the Emperor achievement/title ?
-How will we earn new skins with retirement of chests ?
-Will we still have access to Mystic Forge after the patch ?

Comments about today’s Ready Up:

1. The updates: This was really lacking. There were a lot of questions on the forums around what happens with glory boosters, etc. Some of those could have been answered. It would have been good to hear.
2. The matches: I enjoyed watching these. Conquest isn’t the easiest to watch, and the shoutcasters did a good job keeping it entertaining.

Overall, a fun Ready Up. Oh, and I like that grouch and chap kept it more casual. This is a game. Watching something formal is not in the game spirit. Nice job overall.
