this thread might be on the wrong forums, devs did say that ele stay on 1 -2 attunements on PvE…

PvP is a lot more different and using all 4 attunements is required, and not as hard to do as some people might think.. also the changes that are being asked, are pretty much what some rangers have said about locking out their pet, and gaining a small dmg buff, Anet most likely will not change class mechanics, specially on such ways .. so yea :/

If this is the case then they really should go with my first suggestion, revamp the attunement cooldowns and rework the traits that are selfish towards their respective attunement.

Current Ele traits defy the way “ele is supposed to be played”.

I think its too complicated and hard to balance.

Please think of this from a developer’s point of view.

I’ve watched the State of the Game videos and all I can say is I’m elated that the developers have explicitly said that they disagree with your point of view (because it’s been brought up… multiple times).

Uhh… No I think they are with me on this one.

You don’t even play an ele lol. You play a wqrrqir and a stun wqrrqir at that. Stop trying to ‘balance’ classes.

There is a reason for that, because of having 20 abilities many of them could miss and just not care, you had more ways to do the same thing then any other class.

They brought that down all around and now they are bad.

They should limit it to 10 abilities like the other classes and then they can improve it.

So you want to completely change the nature of the class because you think it’s too complicated? Haha, okay, I think this discussion is over.

I am sorry , but it is not the players fault that he cannot control the pet properly and that its an AI . Rangers have been asking for full pet control for months and have been constantly denied .

And rangers are no harder to play then warriors , necros , thieves , etc…

this game is so bloody easy to play that children with fetal alcohol syndrome can enjoy it.

the elementalist is the only class near as hard to control as … well most games on the market.

I think people should push themselves to be better if they want to play those classes.

This game already panders to the least coordinated sectors of humanity as is.
