Literally every one of you people are completely oblivious to the fact that this guy was able to hold MY ENTIRE TEAM for a good 2 minutes. It’s absolutely stupid that one OP trait (yes, I’m looking at you Automated Response) is able to completely negate all forms of damage from my WHOLE TEAM permanently.
You said automated response negates all forms of damage, you are capable of reading properly……right? If so, then click the link below and enlighten yourself.
He was playing at Voz, that explains it all. Voz is a beast. My team has beaten his a couple times, but he has given us our fair share of whippings as well.
You don’t necesarily need power to kill one.I sometimes use a condi/cc build on my war .Basicly i cc the engi and meanwhile the conditions do damage on him,weird right? Engies are sure a strong class but the less we need is less viable builds/classes in this game.

If your entire team is condition spamm..then yeah it’s not stupid at all, if only one of your allies is a condition spammer then it’s ok..you just met a hard counter but your team will cover for you…..it’s called hard counter..deal with it or don’t play
Instead nerfing AR, Anet should buff scepter auto attack so it deals around 1k on condi builds and 2-3k on power builds. that would give necros a fighting chance against these monstrous engineer bunkers..
also. maybe ban Voz from the game too, no one needs that kind of gamebreaking players on gw2
Automated Response wouldn’t save him alone against 5 players, even if they were all condi spec.
The DD from their 5 auto attacks alone would have downed him.

Simple truth is that in this game if you lose even 2v1 you can be absolutely sure you are very bad.
I highly doubt even OP and his mates are kitten enough at the game to lose 5v1.

Who’s better? Voz? Five Gauge? Ostrich Eggs? Answer is very obvious
better at what? mechanics, theory-crafting, winning?
Five Guage is a legend at theory and creating new builds -he created “100 nades” back in the day and was essentially the reason why the kit refinement trait was reworked.
Ostricheggs is in the top 4 most ranked game wins in both the NA solo and team ladder (over 2500 wins), and Voz just convinced some kid that Engineer -the most underplayed class in this meta (a class so frowned upon that Car Crash wouldn’t even let super play it in the PAX tourney, despite that it’s his main) is completely broken. They’re all pretty great, and all pretty well known for different things here on NA!
I wouldn’t claim to be better than Oeggs or Five at some things, but I’d consider myself within their ranks. Also I’ve played for a couple top tier teams like SOAC Blue, Blacklisted [Envy], Schubanhi, and briefly JFK. I’m not as well known because I don’t have a popular twitch or have a steady team right now haha.

Thx for share that build I must say its really bit insane:-) I tried it yesterday in hotjoin and hold point aginst 3 players almost 10 minutes (It coud be longer but match ends:-P):-) Just switched Elixir S for FT after a while (and fast acting for regenerator.)

Don’t waste your high damage skills whie he is using some defensive skills and make him waste them all first so they are on cd. Of course if someone really is bunker he will be careful with that and it won’t be easy.
I actually Run a Bunker Engineer. Brooke Allana and In no way are they impossible to kill. Even in my own build I only have one stun breaker. Engies can barely get stability either.
To be honest, with my build I dont care about thieves. I havent played many 1v1 that could kill me. 2 or 3 I have trouble. My biggest issues have been Stun Warriors and dps Guardians.
30/0/30/0/10 To be honest It works better than I thought It would. Bunking without damage doesnt make people back away from my experience so a litte damage helps. But IN NO WAY do they need a nerf. Engies dont even have much working(skills/traits/boons) maybe 2 or 3 viable build types and slight altercations to those builds. If you cant kill one Engie with five people you cant be doing something right. Burst damage HURTS. Or they just out played you guys. Takes so much thinking to play engie so please respect the struggle most of us go through just to stay competitive and not repetitive.
