Both teams have a lord.
Seems pretty balanced 2 me.
what if we added 2 soldiers and 2 casters in front of each door, would that help?
Pushing lord often requires the entire team to leave all capture points. The lord push can easily be countered by a few of your teams players going back and harass them while the rest of your team goes for a 3-cap before returning to lord to help.
I have won so many games because my enemy pushed lord and failed. It is also very easy to predict a lord push. If your team lead by 100 points or more or there are literally no other way the enemy team can win without killing the lord, then you should be ready for a lord push.

Im dont say it´s unbalanced. I think it´s just to easy atm to kill the Lord and get 150 points cuz he´s to weak.
If i remember correctly not even a staff-ele, guard and engi-heal (just the aoe-heals from that team) was enough to keep him alive against MiM´s push
I like the idea, if this one got implemented i think its enough. well atleast we can see some small scale gvg conquest action instead of 1v1 dueling room (too much disgrace on this map) and make a guild ladder.
Between a master and apprentice, i would love to see the differences.
both teams have a lord, but it is an all inc mechanic since you will lose all your capture points. You only go all in when you are behind. In general it is too rewarding for a desperate comeback attempt and it should be defendable almost always IF your team is defending it unless you get killed. Currently you can kill it while ignoring 5 people defending + I´m not sure how Moa affects the stats of the Lord (Why can you even Moa a Lord)
My suggestion would be more defense for Lord the more teammates there are in the base. Disable announcements for door/lord attacks so map awarenes is more of a factor and you can steal it without people defending it.
The lord is way too far from the capture points. Pushing lord is usually a mistake that causes your team to lose.

Yeah Zapdos, it´s too hard to defend, even with 5 people. Don´t get me wrong I love the comeback-system with this mechanic, but with all the power-creep it´s to easy atm.
Maybe remove the rally from the NPC in the lordroom. If the enemy-team is downed and get the rally from one useless NPC there.,,,this is kind of a wtf-moment

Killing the lord was definitely harder in the past, so i am 100% up for this idea.

Maybe also make the Lord heal like Shelter, or give him some anti-cc boss mechanic like Unstoppable.

2 dps can kill lord in seconds ignoring guards with stealth, those guards are also way too weak the only decent thing they can do is blocking projectiles…everything else is just worthless. If they are eles make them heal lord at least….and yeah removing annoucements would be nice. And kitten give him an healing skill without 2 seconds cast time…even a monkey can interrupt that

I think Grouch has said he wants to remove rallying of the adds as well, so that may be in the works.
I would like to see the casters around the lord being a little bit smarter, and the Lord be invuln or receive a significant buff for each caster/soldier still alive. As far as the AI, they are currently not super-smart or even support the lord well. When you run it,usually both casters will cast their swirling simultaneously, and thus overlap. Maybe if they were reprogrammed or given different supportive skills they would be more effective. Honestly, one of the minions should be a shout-guardian who can give his own heals, prot, stab, etc. and MUST be taken down. Also, just increasing their defense/health might be a good idea with the recent buff to offense that happened with sigil/rune changes.
Perhaps even make it possible to revive the adds after they die so that teams really need to commit and you have an option for giving the Lord back whatever buff his minions were giving him while alive.
I think buffing lord is a great idea. I think he should be too strong for anyone to just sneak in and 1v1 in 30 seconds. I have seen this done many times mostly by rangers thieves and eles. I would also like it of the defenders didn’t spawn right on top of boss. Maybe in a tunnel that exits outside the gates? I hate when my buddies and I are on boss and half the team respawns right over our heads.

Power creep? DPS is lower today than when the game first came out.
Instead of buffing the lord, make it worth less. 100 possibly?
I agree he could use a HP buff. Too easy to solo.

decent guards, decent healing skill and condi removal for lord should be fine…
maybe make him dodge too xD
