Forced CDs when target moves behind you
That is the point of it. You are supposed to play better and actually target and hit your skills.
Way to pull the “play better” card.
Regardless of what you do, the game will latch on to the person in front of you when you use it, as soon as you hit them. This issue is beyond the player’s control which makes it easy to abuse.
It should depend more on the channel. If it works like confusing images or rapid fire, going on c/d kind of makes sense. I don’t use engi so I’m less familiar with their cones however it does make sense for a BP-AoE cone to keep going.
In the terms of more targeted ones going on C/D, it is the method to avoid it. Basic doge is not long enough to evade the full duration of most of the multi hit skills. At which point I think the “play better” card is valid.
Although bug or not it’s manageable if you turn your character in the right way while strafing to keep targets in front of you.

This can be really annying, if u are immonbilized and can’t turn.
In addition, I think the list of skills which have to face the enemy and which don’t is not fair at all.
Best example: Grenade kit, where the engi is able to throw nades backwards.
