I’ve recently played alot of tournament games (free), and have become more and more sad about the fact that entire groups of 5 from a guild, can go against 5 random people. The guild has the obvious advantage here. They are probably skyping or something as well, and can coordinate against their enemy.

Please make it so that groups of 4-5 people from the same guild only get grouped up against other guilds. It’s incredible depressing and frustrating to play a losing game.

That’d be GvG which is not coming anytime soon according to ANet even though it is a necessity imo.

For example: In Leage of Legends, if you are in a premade consisting of 4 or more people, you’d only get grouped up against people with the approximate same number of premades.

The system wouldn’t be that hard to implement. A Net would just have to make another tournament queue for people who are in 4-5 man premades. That way, they would only meet players which have the same tactical advantage.

Another reason they won’t do it is because they just gave us paid tournaments to play against other pre-made teams. Why would they give us a free way to do it when they could squeeze a buck out of us every time?

Based on the fact that they have still not fixed bugs that were reported in the first BWEs (no excuse…), and are focusing seemingly only on new features that will bring in money with the gem store…. I don’t get a good feeling about where PvP is going in this game. Maybe I will be more optimistic if they ever release something new that doesn’t require additional real money? I just can’t see that happening though, at least in the relatively near future.

Please don’t even bother making a GvG if there is a real money entry fee IMO.

You don’t have to pay for anything. If you want to enter a payed tournament, just use a tournament ticket. If you run out, win some free tournaments. No one is trying to make you pay with real money, I’ve never had to, or wanted to pay for anything.

Would you prefer instant disappointment or slow satisfaction? The former is what almost every pug gets in free tourny.
