How important is the Feature Build for you?
1. Yes
2. Have been pvp less since I’m just in waiting mode for the feature build…
3. Waiting on this build for a month or so, which I think is a long break.
Just waiting for some info on the gear mash up really… to me it matters.
How Important is the quality of the upcoming feature build for you guys?
Will you stay no matter what?
No.
Will you play less?
If the feature patch isn’t even as good as it’s being hyped to be I will likely play less.
Will you take a long break?
If the feature patch is just meant to reward newer players for playing while leaving old players in the dust (reward structure introduced this patch) then I’m done. [partly due to no retroactive rewards ever being introduced in the future]
Ghoul, my friend…. no patch will ever reward veteran loyal players! get off that cloud!
1. Probably, the combat system is fun and i’ll continue to find 1-Shot builds to amuse me
2. Yes
3. Most likely
1. no
2. yes
3. maybe ( my waiting patience is dry)
It’s fairly important to me, not just for pvp, but the game as a whole. It’s been about a year and a half. This game is starting to get quite stale, and needs some fresh air. So I’m hoping this patch is something good so I can keep enjoying the game. If not, I’ll just continue to play less and less, until I just quit all together.
Heavens Rage
The feature build needs to be bigger than it is realistic to hope for. If the previewed 8% shave to healing signet are the extent of the changes then it would only cement the notion that GW2 is a game that could have been one of the greats but was deliberately driven into the ground. Even if I carried on playing sporadically, I’d still have a very jaded view of how things turned out.
•Will you stay no matter what?
Yes, none of the other MMO’s suit me (ie…ESO, Wildstar or WoW).
•Will you play less?
How much I play depends on the quality of content. For example loved the first 3 living story updates since xmas and played GW2 loads. 4th update was really bad, so completed my achievements and played D3 loot 2.0 instead, didn’t log into GW2 for 2 weeks. So with me its about quality, rewards, character progression, quality and quality.
•Will you take a long break?
D3 reaper of souls is out on 25.3.14, going to play that to death, so probably a break from GW2 but I will play in the WvW tournament too, those mistforge weapon skins are good.
GW2 is crying out after 18 months for a expansion with meaty content for sPvP, PvE and WvW.
They need to build upon the 3 core game modes in GW2 and forget the living story rubbish. They have neglected the 3 core game modes by and large since launch day.

I say it like this, this feature build is pretty much their last chance for me at least.

Given the fact that they took away rewards, yes, the feature patch is critical.
1. No
2. Yes
3. An endless break.
How Important is the quality of the upcoming feature build for you guys?
Will you stay no matter what?
Eh, define stay? Will I play occasionally? Sure. Will I buy gems? No. Will my team stay motivated to keep practicing every Thursday nights? Unlikely
Will you play less?
Definitely. Why should I commit to a game that doesnt commit to me?
Will you take a long break?
Maybe.
Feature build is make or break for me.
TBH for me its not about next patch its about next next patch, i am sure that next patch will be good and will make me play more, BUT its only logical that it will cause new balance issues and that PvP will need more improvements, and if it will take another 4 month for one more PvP patch then i might just give up on this game cause PvP need constant attention to be good and balanced.
Just an example would be current “stuck bug”, basicly its gamebreaking bug that would get hotfixed on 2nd day after finding it out if anet would take PvP more seriously, but here we are more than 4 month and noone has even approved that it will be fixed in next patch.
1) Ill stay. I also find playing squishies challenging and fun
2) Probably. Ill just go hotjoin, kill 10x pve newcomers, get killed by a conditank or warr, then log off.
3) If i find something better. Currently there isnt, but if pvp balance gets slower, I may even start studying of boredom
4) Will i buy something with real money? no
5) will i recomend the game to my 4 friends? No. Until the balance is this bad and slow, im often ashamed i play Gw2. You cant lie to a friend.
Added “Will you buy gems with $$$$” because its another indicator of how the feature patch will influence your involvement in the game.
“Will you buy gems with $$$$”
noooooooooooo Ill let my custom arena expire and wont buy gems for anything else.
Logged on today after about a 2 month hiatus, was greeted to a wonderful 3 games in a row of 4v5’s logged off and won’t be back till the features build as long as it is before June 3rd (Wildstar release), going to spend time their no matter what as it is a game I am very interested in after the multiple betas I have played. This features build would have to be very good, and I mean very very good in order for me to spend any significant amount of time with again. I am really hoping that this features build is a new start and sets Gw2 back in a positive direction but after a year of many disappointments and questionable decisions I am not feeling to optimistic. As far as buying gems for me personally those days are over, I spent enough and really feel I have got nothing in return for my money. I will always return for short periods of time to check things out as long as they keep the servers on, but there would have to be many changes in order to get me to be a everyday gem buying player that I once was.
How Important is the quality of the upcoming feature build for you guys?
- Will you stay no matter what?
- Umm, no… lol – wtf, this isn’t a cult.
- Will you play less?
- Play less if… what? Scratch that – my answer is soon.
- Will you buy gems with $$$$?
- Soon I will.
- Will you take a long break?
- About soon long.
1) No
2) Yes
3) I already do.
4) Indefinitely
I’d like to hear from one of the devs how important they think this feature patch will be for maintaining the player base.
Besides WvW league there is nothing of importance to me.
Spvp got nothing.
This game is almost dead to me. Wildstar cant come fast enough.
How Important is the quality of the upcoming feature build for you guys?
- Will you stay no matter what?
- Will you play less?
- Will you buy gems with $$$$?
- Will you take a long break?
- No. I will stay if the feature build is what has been asked for 8 months.
- Probably, ESO is coming out and I’ll enjoy a break from a stale PvP.
- Not at all
- Depends on the feature build. If it’s good, I’ll keep playing sometimes, if it’s wonderful, I’ll keep playing for sure. If it’s bad, then bye bye GW2
- Unlikely.
- Already do.
- Nothing they can do anymore that will make me invest in their game.
- Just about to.

- Will you stay no matter what?
No. If this patch keeps me engaged, I’ll stay, if not… there’s more games on the horizon.
- Will you play less?
I already do. Not a lot to do except WvW.
- Will you buy gems with $$$$?
No. Stopped thinking about that a long time ago.
- Will you take a long break?
Most likely if the feature patch is just lame fixing of bugs that should have been fixed a year ago. If it brings something new, depends if it’s good.
