What is the timer on the 6th effect?
How did they change Perplexity?
They showed perplex but I didn’t see it all before they moved to something else (was quick). I’m sure dulfy is on it. I do know the 4th bonus has the same effect, but a cool down of 25s now, much larger.

Perplex was changed on the 4th bonus to be “when hit” from “when you hit”, and it had a longer cooldown on that effect that before. The interrupt looked the same.
By and large it didn’t do much to change it, and now it is going to be in pvp, so yeah… that is awful.

The Perplexity change sounds reasonable. I also like the change to Lyssa. It’s not like Mesmers have been the class who heavily exploited those. Warriors or Thieves might be annoyed, though.
And best of all: Travellers in PvP. Perfect for my current build.
It’s a good change, now if u use it without any conditions you get no boons, if you have conditions, 5 conditions are converted in boons.
It depens on conditions but usually Fear —> stability so i don’t think you can get now stability with lyssa runes.

You act as if though only engineers can abuse perplexity runes. And yes you’ve been complaining about Engineers (not just decap) forever. Irrationally so.
Also, constant application of confusion on engis themselves is really painful since they have poor condi removal and especially if they’re using a bunch of skills via kits. So it’s both a bad thing and good thing for engis.
Personally I don’t want it in PVP but I’m annoyed by your constant irrational bias against engineers.

With fear interrupting I would be shocked to not see every necro take the runes. The standard rune was only 10% extra duration (nightmare), which is not a huge hit with how fast things are remove. 10% duration vs. 5 confusion on interrupt?
Yeah perplexity is going to be on every condi class and ridiculous now that Lyssa isn’t a get out of jail free card. Of all the runes to bring over that was the one (like Dire gear) that I thought they would be smart enough to exclude….

Clearly, you’re the only one who thinks this. Go look at the perplexity thread and you’ll see the general consensus is that there are plenty of builds and professions that can abuse perplexity. Once again, you’re just letting your blind hatred of engineers cloud your judgement.

Clearly you forgot that they have classified engineers as a disease. This is why people hate them.
A Terrormancer shouldn’t be sacrificing the 20% duration needed for 100% fear and 50% condition duration. The enemy shouldn’t even get to attack for a moment if the Terrormancer knows how to play so the ticks would never happen. As for every other class I’ve already explained them and the balance of WvW is completely different for Thieves and Mesmers.
Lyssa looks good now, but why would they shave off 5% condi duration?

Perhaps, but at least it gives some freedom for other choices now. The defensive loss may be big, but warrior damage will certainly benefit from this because they’ll just take something else.

Yes, warriors/thiefs are not going to use Lyssa anymore. Probably a lot will go more offensive, hitting considerably harder than before, so you may end up wishing Lyssa had remained the same…
We have a new option (which will remain top secret until deployed), that’s probably better than Lyssa runes..
