You contradict yourself by saying: “skill has nothing to do with PvP in gw2,”
and: “if your mmr is destroyed to the point that you get bots as teammates” in the same paragraph.

If not skill, what is the difference between you and a “bot” teammate?

Not quite sure what you’re getting at but mmr has nothing to do with skill, mostly has to do with luck or having a premade to make it high. People with high mmr get put on teams that can win even if they go afk, people with low mmr get put on teams that will lose no matter if that 1 person is the best most totally super duper skilled pro pvp playing person in the history of games. Team game, good team wins not so good team loses, 1 persons skill level aint gonna make much of a difference. Most people know the outcomes in pvp here are predetermined. But go on and believe whatever you want

Skill has surely an impact on pvp gw2 but it´s limited on the meta level.

The good players in a bad team can carry- a-team-theory is wrong anyway, if these good players in a bad team play against a better enemy team.

We see this currently at soccer EM 2016. Can the world best soccer players carry a team of minors?

Can Ronaldo carry his team? No he can´t.

Can Ibrahimovic carry his team to a win? No he can´t.

Can Lewandowski carry his team against a stronger team? No he can´t.

Can Baine carry his team against a stronger team? No ge can´t.

And u people forget the other side. Some players can easily identify the carrying players on the other team. So what the solution? Focus the carrying player and you turn off the whole enemy team.

It´s the same in soccer matches. Double coverage and make the stronger player puke..

Well said but on that note what about the PvPers are not after the wings. The ones that just want competitive and fun ranked matches while not having deal with the hassle of running on a team of different minded players? What about us I mean really the wings are not only ugly IMO but have no pristige what so ever as anyone who farms noncompetitively can get them.

Atm in GW2’s sPvP there is no home for my kind to lay our heads down but in the past there was. But ever since this childish lazy attempt by ANet to push to make GW2 a eSports"cheaply advertise GW2 as a pvp game" sPvP in general IMO have been the least competitive I’ve ever seen it in GW2.

I don’t know, that’s why I quit playing pvp. I just log on do my pvp daily in unranked then usually log off. I don’t think there’s any place for us who want a fun diverse competitive pvp game, if only gw1 would come back to life……that was the last extremely fun and competitive pvp game I had the pleasure of playing. Pvp in gw2 was ok in the beginning, not perfect but enjoyable enough to do it, then they changed everything and made it kind of unbearable. So yea I really don’t know.
