New Leaderboards, MMR reset is a funny joke
Get more warriors, obviously.
I don’t quite understand your point with this thread.
Are you indicating that rank = skill?
Furthermore, it seems like you are also indicating that leaderboard rank = skill.
Unfortunately for you, I can see that you are playing a ranger, and most likely been taking advantage of an incredibly broken build.
If you want to matter you should play a game that requires skill and therefore allows you to carry. Try CS:GO or Dota 2, if not then just accept that you will win and lose randomly.

BDR,
Rank is not always = MMR. One of the low ranks on your team could have an MMR close to yours, if it is an alt.
Why don’t you just camp enemy spawn and kill everybody who come out?

Matches are a bit random today which is normal since MMR is random. All the people crying about carrying their teams are always annoying though.
No one else is winning matches right? The system is only broke for you. Feel a little foolish yet? I don’t know but maybe I was lucky but my first couple games after the wipe just about everyone was people I recognized from the old top 1000. I don’t care what anyone say the changes they made on the 12th have improved solo q a ton.
The problem is that MMR is to flat atm, give it some time and hope you dont get stuck in the elo hell…

Ignoring the whole skyhammer fiasco, I still think rank is a better indicator of skill. MMR doesn’t quite measure your performance as a player, only the performance of your team relative to another team. It doesn’t include your previous experience (rank), or individual contributions during a match.
You could be the most awesome player, and still have horrible MMR (and vice versa), simply because you got a larger share of 4v5’s, newbies, and bad team comps. Players can and are quickly locked into the same MMR range as new players, which attracts even more inexperience players to your team. And the cycle continues. In the end, once your MMR hits a certain range there’s little you can do to claw your way out.
From what I’ve seen, the Glicko 2 rating system was designed for chess, go, and other 1v1 games, not team oriented games with fluctuating players. I don’t know about you, but I want my score to reflect my actual experience and performance (stomps, points captured/defended, top scores, etc.), not the average performance of a bunch of people I’m randomly grouped with.

Yes, Glicko rating must be just an approximation for a team-based game. It will probably take a long time for random fluctuations to be worked out of your MMR. And even when your MMR is fairly accurate, the low population means you will still not get the even matches you would if there were thousands of people waiting in the queue.
