If you get disconnected and you’re trying to log back into a game, the double loading screen is extremely disadvantageous. Please remove the Heart of the Mists loading screen completely if you are already in a PvP map.

On a side note, I got Skyhammer tonight. Needless to say, it made me very upset. There is now a very large hole I made in my bedroom closet door. I punched the door. Skyhammer infuriates me. Why am I getting chain cc’d by 2 Engineers and then focus pulled for a one shot kill by a Mesmer?

Why?

I just realized I am still very upset right now. I need to get drunk and break things.

Yes, the double loading screen is entirely unnecessary and an unneeded punishment for those who are the victims of a disconnect. People with fairly old computers may take up to 40 seconds to get past a screen, discounting the time to login and then load character selection.
For this game, or just for the competitive side of it, a clean, fast and functional load will improve our quality of life by a significant margin. Maybe a tickbox for fast start-up?

Don’t break the window though. Last time I did that, I got my keyboard, mousepad and speakers rain-soaked and had to buy replacements. On a side note, cardboard makes a pretty good mousepad.

Well, according to the data that I recorded when I talked to 3 people in the Mists today, GW2 players like getting one-shot and skipping the downed state.

last night I dreamt someone killed his cat when he got mad at gw2.

Agreed about the loading screen issue, if you’re in a tournament the box should pop up with Enter and Wait in the character selection after selecting char, or send you straight off to the tournament if it’s in the middle of a game, and after the match has started logging alts shouldn’t be possible til the match is over.
