I would love to see an eventual option to swap between saved builds and gear in PvP matches so you can change your setup depending on the map you’re on without having to go back into the Mists. Maybe use gems to purchase more available saved build slots. Could make it so you set the gear you want with the build and as long as it’s in your inventory it’ll automatically equip it all. I saw it mentioned in the Skyhammer thread and felt maybe the idea would get more attention in its own thread.

(Or at least an Equip All option for Runes, already.)

I remember reading it was on some list of things to implement on some point.

I support moving it from that list to the to-do list.

I like that devs are talking about that we should change our build ( i are on this) and at same time they wont give as any tools to save our builds.

Templates was very good solution for this problem and i loved in in gw1.
Hope they will make something similar and as soon as possible .

Build templates were available in GW1, from memory it was for skills (when skills weren’t bound to weapons).

Would be good to see this again.

If they start charging gems for build templates I will not only lose all faith in ArenaNet as a company I will continue to use alternate characters with different builds.

Interesting. My reaction would be to open my wallet and pay for the content that I like, and that they put in the effort to create. I would probably buy 15-20 template slots just for starters if they made them available, and I only really play 3 professions in tourney at this point. Right now every 3 days I have to re-outfit all of my tPvP chars based on the map from memory. If I could do that with 6 mouse clicks instead, then I would pay for it happily with a grin on my face.

A-net is a business, and you can’t expect to get something for nothing. They need to generate revenue to create more and better tPvP content/features, and they really haven’t found a good way to create that revenue from the tPvP player base yet. I think selling templates would be a good way to get some mini-transaction cash flow that they badly need from that segment of the market.

seperate runes/sigils from skins

plz make extra slot in spvp on character for runes or sigilis on items

often i get a new skin but dont wear it cause im to lazy to look for my runes or sigils for the items

I remember dev did say template is on its way, but they have things to iron out before getting it done. If only search on this forum actually works.

PvP needs those templates asap. There should have been templates since release.

Yea I think this should be the next top priority IMO.

With the addition of sky hammer map that requires a completely different build than other maps it would be useful to swap builds in hit joins.
