[PvP] Everyone against Everyone
Ok this idea don’t like to no body xD
Really you don’t would like play everbody vs everbody in an arena????
as far as I heard there will be a free for all pvp in the new guild halls, and I think it will be fun
not sure i’ll ever see it, but still your wish is already granted
Yep, exactly what KGS said.
I don’t think the arena fights in the guild-hall will count towards anything (they probably won’t have scoring or rewards), but at least this kind of duelling will be made available!
I’m looking forward to seeing all sorts of interesting PvP games that will be invented with this new feature. I have a strong sense that asuraball will be a common sight
If there wasn’t already enough hate for stealth-based attrition builds, this would do the trick.
Just kidding, there’s never enough.
PvP is entertaining because there’s a 50% chance of winning. If there’s 10 players and only one winner the chance is lowered to 10%. It will feel like you’re losing again and again which will make people quit and no one would enjoy it except for the very few 1337 haxxorz players that are experienced enough.
You mean a… free for all mode? That would be fun—provided that players can’t somehow sync enter to try and game the matchmaking system(s).

I disagree, I think that there would be a spectrum of winning and losing.
For instance, a player that kills 2 people will feel more accomplished than somebody who managed to kill one person before being killed themselves.
The last person to be killed might be thrilled that they came so close to winning, as a second place.
Also, depending on the fight, the last person to be alive might not be the most proficient killer, but the best survivor. It will certainly add an interesting spin to competitive battling.
Also, there is nobody forcing you to play in the guild arena, you play to fool around with your friends or to practice some PvP techniques. If you find it disappointing, you can play the game differently or just not play it at all.

agreed, just like the southsun survival activity (and the related end of beta hunger games event) everyone hated that right?
right right
you could just go perma stealth and wait until everyone is dead except the weakened low health victor and then you can pick them off XD
lol and have thieves just sit on the sidelines in stealth until everyone is near dead to reap the rewards no thanks
As a thief, I support this idea. May the odds be ever in my favor! And if not, I’ll cheat :-P
Sounds like thieves and guardians might be the strongest contenders in this type of game mode. As a thief I would probably just hide and wait for the other players to kill each other. I don’t know, it could be a fun distraction from all the other stuff in game.
Map would have to be complex enough.
Otherwise making it a clusterthing would make it a total fail.
Anet gave birth to Gw2 – Anet killed Gw2.
Murican law 2015.
Last man standing…
You mean last thief standing. Wait in stealth until others kill each other, and then backstab the winner. So much fun.
Last man standing or ffa with a score based on kills would be two modes that I think could be fun.
Of course, like always (even though this has been mostly ignored), it would need its own separate queue.
