PvP Mesmer needs balancing
There is some classes never gonna get nerfed.
1) Mesmer
2) WarriorAnd there is also some classes too will be nerfed with all patches
1) Necromancer

I haven’t played ranked (at all) and I consider myself as noob in this game, I’ve played mmorpg PvP for 5 or so years tho, so I shouldn’t be in the worst spot either. Dunno how much my opinion actually matters but…. I basically can’t win a game as mesmer, if I win it’s despite me, not because of me.
Now elementalist, that’s a different story. I’ve won nice 50 games out of 62 ( I love statistics in general!) so I suppose I should do a little bit better with mesmer than losing or getting carried. Or maybe I find elementalist more natural due the excessive amount of dota2 as Invoker, but it’s the same with Ranger and Guardian. I’ve read guides, learn my skills, my build…like I should. Even so I feel like I’m just easy target with easily avoided shatter damage, throwing some boons which have hardly any impact on the game.
It’s an anecdote, I know, but I’m having a hard time seeing bad player getting carried through lower tier because they play mesmer. Dang, even if I see mesmer on the playfield while playing any other character I’m like “hey, that’s a free kill!” and they usually are.

Top 10 means nothing because it’s purely the result of a couple unscrupulous players manipulating the matchmaking and rating system.
Mind-numbingly stupid calls for nerfs.
It’s appalling to me how often I still see people stomp clones.
Such an enormous part of this forum is dedicated to L2Play issues trying to be translated as viable balance discussions.
If everyone used their ability to play the classes they have trouble against in an unranked game or two and understand the limits and strengths to form a more rounded knowledge base for counter play….. man what a world that would be.
And the people even trying to support Blurred Frenzy nerfs? Do me a favor and put your ceiling fan on the highest setting, and make your best effort to jump straight into that bad boy. Report back if its possible for you to lose any more brain cells.
Power Creep in HoT is a tangible issue worth discussing. Not this garbage.

Look at top 50, take out any accounts that have fewer than 50 games then come back and tell us the distribution of classes up there. Like Fay said, the people at the very top are gaming the system, and being able to win 12 games doesn’t mean kitten.
Checkout how many people are playing Mesmer and how many people are playing other classes… You will realize it’s not Mesmer OP, but you s…. If the player kills you easily, you’d better learn something from him rather than post meaningless content here, because that player is good.

The fact that you lost to a Mesmer is not justification for a nerf.
Learn to play folks. Mesmer has already been cut about as far as it can be and still be useful in PvP.

Only two things need need to happen and this is more about two conditions and not Mesmer as a class, and those are:
Remove The damage on Tick for both Confusion and Torment, only have the damage on skill use and damage on movement.
Those were there/added for PvE purposes only, these changes are only needed for WvW and PvP since they are splitting skills already it should be a simple adjustment.

Torment was added into the game with the on tick but that was only due to PvE mobs not moving much…. you know the whole stack in a corner and burn. Then they added the damage on tick to Confusion because PvE mobs don’t use skills as much as players, so classes that relied on those conditions wouldn’t be doing much damage to the PvE mobs.
Now that skill separation is a thing they need to remove those PvE mechanics from the conditions.

Chrono and Moa have received nothing but big nerfs for over a year straight. Inspiration sustain took a big nerf in the last patch.
