Regarding SOTG + Warriors:
At times I truly think all heavy melee classes weapon skills need to be split. All of them are 600 range close gap. If your already in melee range it provides a different sort of hit. So far when playing with great sword builds across warrior and guardian I envy the ranger set of weapon skills. An auto attack chain that provides some damage mitigation/gap closer that is fairly accurate and has very helpful distance on it/a heavy hit/ a split skill that if used at range can be used and has a secondary effect if used up close/stun. It just kinda makes sense. When player ranger great sword I find keeping in viable melee range far easier..however the ranger doesn’t have any sort of true power build, so for all of it effectiveness the damage output isn’t competitive.
I know it involves twice as many resources as now for them, which might not be financially viable, but they just badly need to split Warrior in PvE/WvW and SPvP so desperately badly.

Just adding to the pot. I like the idea of a super thread which references every other idea thread.
Giving us more HP does nothing to solve the problem of staying in a fight, but it does provides an excuse to kick the bucket down the road a little further.
Yes thank you for stating the blatantly obvious, I can’t believe ~6 people just sat around nodding their heads when they suggested increasing base HP, it’s just like, wat.
They did take Cleansing Ire from a forum suggestion afaik, which shows that they do read the forums, but it seems to be very selective what gets read, so a thread to put forth more good ideas is great.
i think the main issue is how conditions are so spammable if they just brought down blind and conditions applied through aoe warrior would be fine

I couldn’t tell the times I was trying to get close to an necro who knew what he was doing. He dropped chill on me and cripple, I cleansed with lyssa rune with SoR, immediately get hit with chill, bleed, poisoned again, used mending and shake it off still had movement impairing on me along with torment, and a few others bleeding to death really fast.
I can tell you more hp wasn’t going to aid my situation AT ALL. The fact is the matter is the whole chase chase chase thing a warrior has to do only to see the person dodge roll back to safety everytime I get closed is what’s killing the warrior class.
Also I must note how come the people who join the SoTG are the people who never main a warrior are the ones who make the comments on what they need improvement on a class they don’t play.
How come A-Net hasn’t just tried to over buff a warrior class and see how the meta itself adjust to them much like how everyone here is now redo their builds for the extra conditions from necros. Right now no one specs their traits or utilities based on, “Oh they got a warrior on the enemy team so I must trait a bit differently” since every single build can counter a warrior by just 1 simple dodge. Avoid their CC and its game over.
I honestly can’t believe everyone just nodded their heads at the warrior ideas, its almost as if they’ve never even fought or played a warrior before. Lol.
