Most people did notice and most people understand that it was because of the perma stealth doorbreaker exploit
People are so upset about everything else with PvP that they just kind of forget that the only new PvP content for HoT was temporarily removed.
Plenty of us prefer the mode and noticed the instant it was taken down.
