I am in a condition quite opposite to yours xD I’m trying to move away from sword/pistol to dagger/pistol but i can’t get the hang of it.
It was nice to see how sensotix played his thief, it gave me some good ideas !

These are a lot of fun to watch but you’re not really doing much “explaining”, you’re too busy playing to really comment on your or your opponents’ actions. You do a decent job of explaining your decision on the macro level (I’ll go to this point, I’ll go cap the buff now etc), but not as much on the actual details of combat, because, understandably, you’re too focussed on the fighting to be able to comment on it! Have you considered recording your commentary as a voiceover AFTER the match, so you can explain things at your leisure?

hm i tried that several times in my series but the subs wanted me to do it live because they said its more fun to watch…i also much rather have a commentary afterwards on team q matches i see your point tho!

Oh it IS more fun, I’m not denying it! If you’re playing a build I’m familiar with so I can tell what you’re doing just by watching then I can just enjoy the amusing commentary and take tips on your tactical decisions about where to move to etc.
It’s just that when I see you playing a profession I’m unfamiliar with I’m more interested in hearing why you use each ability when you use it, which obviously is incredibly hard for someonbe to explain while actually playing.

Awesome series Sensotix. If you are going to do duels, I’m in!!!!

I only watched you on mesmer, thief and warrior so far, but very much liked what I saw on mesmer and thief. Learned a couple of tricks from watching it.

I play nearly all classes myself (necro and ranger are still quite obscure to me), and would be cool if you shot some more guardian, elementalist, engineer, warrior, though you should of course stick to the classes where you have expertise.

EDIT: I think it would also be interesting to cover different aspects of SPvP: on one hand there is rotations and movement; on the other hand there is the actual combat and certain skill progressions/cycles against specific enemies. The second comes down to basically this: how to fight <insert enemy class> when playing <insert own class>.

Please return to your mesmer this class needs more love than thief, there are plenty good thiefes out there who stream and make content, but no mesmer
