Should I buy Tier 3 armor (60 gold)?
or Tier 3 armors will drop from chests like crazy later on?

question is for Developers becouse only they can answer to this qustion. 60 gold is almost my whole bank and I dont want to feel like fool, when 2 months later u can get Tier 3 armors easily from pvp, when u are rank 40.

i bet you will not get it easy

t3 is in pve a big goldsink and cost something like 125gold

you should buy it now when you have only 60 gold + the glory
cause when they remove glory than the culture t3 for 125g will be the only one ingame you can buy. Dont forget than you can use pve in pvp and pvp in pve and currency will be same in pve/pvp – only Gold

so they cant make anything cheaper in one part of the game than in other – would be stupid^^

May be worth seeing what falls out of the new RNG loot chests, talk to some friends about its loot table if unsure.

Otherwise the T3 cultural is probably a safe bet to purchase for glory. In the future you’ll be able to purchase it for spvp purposes from the PvE T3 vendor, however it’ll cost twice as much, and by which point your glory will be worthless.

Activities? If this is PvE/WvW then I wouldn’t know haha… Please elaborate!

there is npc in lionsarch near the portals where you can go to maincitys from all races. on this guy you can play the daily activitie like sanctum sprint, kew brawl and dont know what more

at end you get chest with some silver(10 maby?) + lil bottle karma and a green item

the reward in future will be gold – not the chest

How do u know that u ll be able to buy pvp armors from pve vendors? how do u know it will cost twice as much gold?

Ah I think I see what you’re asking now. You mean if it’s worth buying the T3 in PvE. The answer is that this pvp T3 will eventually be available in PvE, but not for about 6 months or so most likely. I wouldn’t bother waiting if I were you

they will never give you cultural armor cheaper than it cost in pve – its big goldsink in pve and would make vendor in pve useless

When you can get up to 50 gold per day from Tpvp per day it’s going to be worth it..

The question I really have is Can you stack the hotjoin-soloque-teamQue rewards?.. To a maximum of 70g?.. I think thats doable if you play all day…..

there is a cap in soloQ 15g hotjoin 15g and teamQ 15g when i remember right

what you get in hotjoin? 10 silver for win? this would be 150 games you need to win for cap
than the others?

who has this many time for a game per day? lol

15s per win in hotjoin; 5g
25s per win in solo; 15g
30s per win in TQ; 15g

I guess if you played 50 games in tq you’d cap out.. and get 15 gold.. still in 4 days of that you’d make full cultural .. its not bad Imho..

I died here. 125g for a pver is much gold? XD If he’s playin like whateva i don care, sure, if he knows what and how to get money – its few days. For a tpvper – ~400 tourn wins (tpvp). Gl with this “fair”. I bet devs r aware of the fact that most ppl farm pve for gold, not just run around exploring map, but they gave low rewards to pvp. And gold gona be only currency here <Facepalm>.

I’d just say PvE for the gold (if you have a level 80 its not that hard) and it’ll be pretty easy.

Hi guys I just wanted to ask is there any requirments for me to wear pvp tier 3 equip ? I have enough glory and gold to buy it from vendor but I’m just rank 27. thanks

I’m pretty certain there are no rank requirements for wearing any PVP armor, including the cultural armor.

I have a similar question as the OP, but in my case I’d like to know if we’ll be able to eventually use PvP armor skins in PvE/WvW ? IIRC I’ve read that would be the case, but since there were several mechanics/goals that were changed/postponed/removed in the past I’d like to hear some sort of a confirmation for this.

Really hoping for more details from developers before March patch.

They mentioned an unlock system if i remember corectly. So i guess the pvp locker will be divided in sections and once you have unlocked all stuff from one section, you can go to the next section and unlock the stuff there. (Just my guess) It explaines pretty good why they keep telling s to fill the locker.

I would go for t2 armor and salvage it for tokens and craft infinite light. Its awefull expensive in pve and if they merge the gear i am able to wear a weapon that is worth 1000g++ At least something i can show from playing pvp!

Unfortunately i would have to start playing pvp again in order to do that… (I stoped quiet a while ago)

T3 armor is not worth it imo, it was more profitable to buy small wintersday gifts and sell them for gold after the event. So you make more gold with the same amount of glory than you need to buy the armor But gifts are gone…

If you know about any other rare skins, that you can get in pvp, then plz post here, or open a new thread
