Proposal Overview
Solo team 5v5 Mode

Goal of Proposal
Stop zerging and 3 v 1 gang bang in Ranked PvP

Proposal Functionality
It uses the same elements of PvP but separated by 1v1 mini matches for each capture point

Associated Risks
1 Class can solo better some other class

Description:
There are 5 capture points, each point will have 1 blue player and 1 red player locked into a mini gated arena. They fight and capture their own point that contribute to the overall team points of 500 etc. Spawns and respawns are semi-randomized therefor players will not fight the same person every time, but evenly.

Sounds like a good idea, but there are way too many zerg baby kitten. The queue would be an hour long before anyone would join.

This game is geared around baddies that can ONLY zerg. The few that can solo, WvW is sort of an option, but Tpvp and Spvp have both become zerg fests, not caring about a good fight, just getting those rank points and reward chests.

The ides is great and would not be hard , think of the 5 rings like the marionette fight from earlier , they could even use those 5 rings there @ timberline falls , but it would get horrible class stacking teams , like 5 turret engis ftw …

Zerging in a 5v5 conquest match is a pretty bad strategy and if people can get away with 3v1ing you and not lose the other 2 poins while doing so it’s probably because your team died in even fights before. This is pretty unneccesary. Apart from that it’s pretty much impossible to balance 1v1s in this game which this “gamemode” would be about.

0/10, terrible idea, learn to play conquest or just don’t play ranked matches.

Creative idea, but 1v1 will never be truly balanced and this would be disastrous and spawn an entirely new wave of forum complaints. Besides, there are already measures in place to discourage zerging, such as the treb or skyhammer cannon. Not to mention a zerg can only hold one point at a time.

Yea I think thats a good idea for this system. Its pretty much the same idea as mine, since you need to kill the person first to flip the point.
