I shouldn’t be getting 2v1d and trebbed at home while my team has 3 people attacking treb, 1 of them dies anyway and im still getting trebbed and losing the other 2 points in a legit 5v5. Or teams that have 3-4 people at orb on spirit watch while you’re 2 or 3 capped and still losing the orb and they die anyway. If they can’t even get on the top 1000 leaderboards they shouldn’t get in the same game as anyone top 100. I doubt thats fun for either of us. Why does matchmaking even make a whole team of people under rank 100 to vs 1 person under rank 100 and the rest not even top 1000? No one should be able to tell the outcome of a match before it starts but you can nearly every game.

The lag is out of control. People that are playing from America are even getting lag spikes. At beta the game ran flawlessly apart from the gamebreaking bugs which you have replaced with new ones(weapon swap and doing arcing arrow real quick will shoot the arrow not near your mouse pointer but randomly far away. As glass war this can crit thieves and mesmers over 10k kinda important to land if i wanna swap weps and do it before they see my longbow BUT NO). My own teleports put me in 3 places before i get to my target if it actually makes it there. People are dodge rolling and running around while immobilized. People warp around while stunned. Engineers are warping to the side as i throw bolas and it makes bolas throw crazy far to the side from the lag moving them around on my screen making my skills that aim for me miss.

Queue times are extremely long. 15 minutes to get put against the same team you just facerolled. More matches are 500 – <100 than 500-450+. 30 minute team queues to vs a team you destroy any team that loses to you once just quits..

Pretty sure balance is good enough could you add some QOL.

Agree stoddles..

And your comment about knowing the outcome is very very real. I was watching some of cmc’s games.. I was able to call the score within 30 points 5/6 times b4 match even started. That shouldn’t be possible in any way.

Love the matchmaking.

And before anyone denies the QOL there are atleast 5-6 changes that could be made…

It’s popular to hate everything right now. The lag is bad, something that the last patch or hotfix aggravated, not sure which. Queue times were long last night because lag was bad so fewer people were playing. Matchmaking was probably bad for the same reason.

So there’s a technical difficulty that’s been throwing things off for the last day or so. That doesn’t sound so gloomy now, does it?

@Nevir, I would agree that the lag issue is indirectly exacerbating the matchmaking issue, but matchmaking has had an issue since day 1.

I would much prefer if they split up team members in solo Q so both teams had close to same average rating (rather than the top 5 against the next top 5, which might be 10-20% lower than you). People should be moving in rating because they have enough of an impact to help their team win an even match, not for playing just good enough to not blow it for your team that is heavily favored to win.

Also, in the case of 4v5’s, the 4-man team should not be penalized. The 1 leaver/afk should take the cumulative rating loss of the entire team, with the 4 people actually playing the game having no change in rating—unless they somehow manage to win.

Playing from Australia the lag has been going for months. At Beta and release the game was one of the smoothest i’ve played.

That I can agree with. There are definitely tweaks to be made.
