It’s not a game fault, probably you did something wrong.
Central buffs are very imporant, so don’t ignore them.
You need to spend resources (teammates) to grab these buff at the right time, you say “lucky steal”, but probably your team movements were wrong.
next time don’t mess up. Tranquility is a great buff and it is a great way to turn a game’s momentum.
I remember one of the tournament matches, one of the team completely blew off tranquility and it cost them the match. It was exciting.
This is an mmo forum, if someone isn’t whining chances are the game is dead.
Game too hard, strategy too hard, so much thinking involved, please nerf.
I must disagree with ya OP, I think the buff brings a strategic element to the map and a “come back factor” that is only rivaled by the lord kill on Legacy.
Remember: The top buff comes up at 11:30, 8:30 and 5:30. Tranq comes up at 8:30.
it is entirely your team’s fault for not paying attention to tranquility and not the map’s core mechanics.
On the other hand, if you over-commit to tranquility, the other team will probably just two-cap immediately after you commune anyway. It’s a great map and mechanic, easily my favorite.

aye, its my favorite team arena map too, though it is also the map i experienced 500 – 0 from the top 50 (former top 10) team arena players.
My second fav map, I think the buffs on it are just right. I think your team just needs to revise strategies.

I’m not sure. It has to do with moving through the platforms too quickly for the game to realize you didn’t fall the whole way down.
But I disengaged from a fight on top at half health earlier tonight and lost the other half of my health jumping down…that’s what I meant you should not do.
Yep, my favourite map too.
It’s not just normal cap’n’win but you need to pay attention to buffs to score extra points either from kills, caps and ofc the insta-tri-cap of tranquility means you have to pay attention.
Great map, right up there along with Legacy of the Foefire for it’s “rush” technique to turn a game if you’re trailing but still can turn it if you come back and kill the lord.

@Deimos , you can always drop down by the entrance or on top of the boxes to avoid falling damage

Tranquility is what makes this map so much fun!! It should stay exactly the way it is. This map is perfect.
Nothing wrong with the buffs.
Sometimes it’s actually better to let the enemy all go down and take it whilst most of your group remains next to points to immediately cap them after tranq has gone off, if most of the enemy are down at tranq, there’s nobody to stop you and it’s a worthless buff to them. Stillness > Tranq.
Stillness is a lot more powerful than tranquility, because at least with tranquility if the entire enemy team zergs it all you have to do is decap side points.
what my team does is we send 3 to the buff 10 sec before it pops.
if there is no one there, one cap the others move back to there positions, if we lose it we spread out and repap the nodes right after they get them minimizing the points they get from the buff.

oooo the entrance! and boxes! no wonder i always take damage as i always drop from the errr most inner part, i.e. the part closest to the buff.
