People are still complaining about DH LB5?
Also there’s a ICD on how fast stab stacks can be removed now.
Pretty spot on post.
I never knew Necro and Dh aoe cc was a threat to the meta.
2) Condi Burst
-Condis are a slow drain… it doesn’t make sense for them to being killing faster than every power build out there
-been said before but just for completeness… condi takes one stat and is only mitigated but cleansing (impossible with all the condis out there) or (resistance which will quickly be corrupted) or runes that reduce duration (they all suck and again it doesn’t make a difference cause there are so many condis flying around)

-_- I’ts not that DH LB5 is the sole problem. I’m simply stating that it should have a red ring around the aoe so people don’t get stuck in it because they were right on the edge and thought they were clear… ranger LB5 has a red ring along with every other channeled aoe attack in the game so why does dh get out of having one?
Again, dh lb 5… (even in pair with dh insta daze/traps) is NOT the ONLY problem. The problem is the combination of aoe cc from dh, rev, scapper, necro, mes, and ele. Interrupting an opponent should take thought and timing… ALWAYS. There should never be a random interrupt which messes up an entire attack chain by chance. This is another thing that severely hurts power builds while condi builds remain much more robust. Interrupt a power chain and they are on CD dealing no damage… interrupt a condi chain and they may be on CD but you’re still taking damage from the condis they applied 4 seconds earlier.
In gw1 mesmers and rangers were the interrupting kings…. yes there were a few interrupts that would interrupt a foe as well as foes around your foe but they were very limited. The majority of interrupts were single target, quick shot/cast, low/mid damage attacks used to stop a meteor shower or a res. Much better design.
Another thing I didn’t remind people of in the condi burst topic is that, as another player pointed out, a LOT of the damage from condi comes from torment and confusion… both of which discourage people from playing the game in order to reduce the damage they take… bad mechanic. Don’t wanna take torment damage? ‘/sit’ and take all the cleaves. Don’t wanna take confusion damage? ‘Ctrl+R’ / ‘Dodge’ and hope you can get away without using your skills. Don’t wanna take damage from confusion and torment at the same time since they usually come as a pair anyway? ‘/playdead’ … makes the game super fun.

Would people please stop using the term meta…. and come up with your own builds kitten . If the game was well balanced there wouldn’t be a “meta.” Everyone would run their own unique builds and be on an even slate (assuming they know their class/build and how to deal with given situations using their recourses). The fact that there is a small group of “meta” builds just proves the game needs tuning.
Anyway, yes… most necro aoe cc is a problem because it is often unlockable and coupled with condi. But once again… IT IS THE COMBINATION OF ALMOST ALL CLASSES HAVING ACCESS TO MANY AOE CC SKILLS which turns the battlefield into a spamfest since it becomes impossible to complete a chain.
4)Rune of Nightmares need to be removed
I would like to see all such passives gone. For example…
Mirror of Anguish
Reaper’s Protection

I’d be down for that for sure. Though traits are actually possibly sacrificing something to get the effect in return. Maybe just make them a higher tier trait

Perhaps. I believe my problem is that there is no way to counter them. If they simply negated CC (like the Thief’s trait Hard to Catch), I’d be fine. But it’s the self-stun that I despise :-P
