While the system isn’t perfect due to limitations on the number of teams that can participate in weeklies, I do want to point out that I am really glad to see that you guys are putting in so much effort into making this process.

In the past the teams seemed to be arbitrarily seeded and I think it’s amazing that you gave everyone fair warning of how it would be seeded and have a pretty solid process down. So yeah, while there are complaints here and there about it, I’d just like to remind you guys that what you’re doing is awesome and the transparency in the process is greatly appreciated.

Keep up the great work, love how you guys are managing the lead up to ToL3 thus far!

Yeah there is definitely a loop hole in the sense that there are limited spots for ESL and AG tournaments. Unfortunately there is no other tangible evidence of teams proving themselves, so it’s the best thing to go off of at this point in time.

If there are suggestions or ideas on other ways to go about it, we are definitely open to hearing them.

Where was that heard? The EU ToL takes place on May 23rd and only that date. ^^

Hey guys, just a quick update:

I am catching up tonight/tommorrow on all roster changes that have been emailed to me. The bracket will be released Wenesday night for EU at 10pm CEST over at twitch.tv/digitalprosports with a bracket release show featuring Jebro, Mattie, Christian and Storm. I will post a spreadsheet with full team rosters after the show.

For Saturday, we are planning to have play start at 12pm CEST with the stream starting at 6:30pm CEST.

This will be the largest tournament in Guild Wars 2 history if all teams show up! If youre interested in helping and have a character on a EU server, please send me a PM

You’re allowed swapping class/build between matches
You’re not allowed to swap class/builds whilst being in the matches

However, keep in mind we have a tight shedule to follow so be sure to change quick.
Normally between matches you have 3-5mins tops time to do so.

Counts for all competitive tournaments and all regions (NA/EU)

dont use a mesmer, if he is bad you wont win, but if he is decent you will get banned cause the admins will think its an alt: they wont even try to get any proof.

We have no information about what classes ppl play in our Database, sadly. Unless we start counting at the next tournament and write it down but that’s just more work :p

You can ask pro players to review the gameplay of the mesmer, I can purposely play much worse for the stream too..

Coincidence someone ‘joked’ about the mesmer being the person we think it was right after the tournament, when AG just finished (no info at all about class/name) + being in party of another player who alted 5 weeks ago and both making fun of it? I think not.

Hey; just thought I’d pop in and mention my side.

We had enough evidence for ourselves to make the decision we made. We don’t make any decision like this lightly but we felt there was enough evidence to act – you can hate on me all you want because I’m the one that delivered the news but that doesn’t change the fact that we felt we made the right decision.

Regarding me spilling the beans; I mentioned to your team captain the class only in a conversation to clear the air in which he accepted that it was done and dealt with and nothing was going to happen so there was no point arguing about it; we cleared the air and I thought I’d repay good faith by answering one of the questions he kept repeatedly asking – clearly I chose the wrong one. This was a good 30 minutes after the tourney ended.

I did not mention any names; nor give any hints; regarding the player until he was outright called out in party chat after your team invited me to a party and spent 20 minutes verbally abusing me; while I tried to be gracious and listen to your complaints. Again, I repeat, the guy we had named internally was NAMED IN CHAT without me spilling any names.

Also; I do have screenshots regarding the verbal harassment so please don’t try and act like that didn’t happen.

On top of this; the class was named in the twitch chat by the guys known co-alter about 3 minutes after the DQ was announced and about an hour before I made the class known to your team captain. Considering the people involved that is not a coincidence.

Like I said multiple times yesterday – I really am sorry that you are upset but we as a group stand by our decision and will continue to make them if necessary in future.

There is a certain tier of player in this game that think it’s acceptable to ruin other peoples hard work as well as other peoples practice environments for their own selfish end and honestly, I think that’s pretty disappointing. There are certain people that seem to be actively working against us trying to help this community grow.

Everybody who won a match should be getting a Mini Llama. If you got to the second round by a bye, it does not qualify you for a mini. Other than that, it’s just patience

Just to verify, the start times are actually in CDT not CST cause it is currently daylight savings time. And when it is 12:00 CST it will be 11:00 CDT
