Now, after the 10th December update i finaly opend my tournament reward chests. Out of almost 750 chests, i received a very small amount of luck (not even 2%mf for me – i already got 140%, but still…), but a huge amount of crafting materials (around 12 stacks arcane powder, 1 stack tournament tokens LOL, 1 stack slivers, 2 stacks crytals, 4 stacks orbs – maybe one stack more or less, havent checked it again, but you get the point?!). I also got some elder wood logs and one oricalcum ore, the ore is from a “Lava Axe”. Furtheremore i got a few finishers… and i noticed that it is impossible to use finishers, that you already have available in an infinite amount. The only possible use is destroying them – but you have to enter the name if you want to do that…
So what can be done with crafting materials?

• Skins
  Okay if there is a skin you have not already gotten from reward chests, this could be an option. But you want need 12 stacks of arcane powder for this.

• Upgrading materials
  also a nice way to use the arcane powder, but that to do with the upgraded slivers/crystals?

• Downgrading material
  Combined with the upgrading option this is a powerfull tool to get rid of all this arcane power stacks. But lets see what else we got…

• Glory Boosters
  Would be an option if a) glory would not be removed and b) if i would not already have more than one stack of them…

• Crafting Dyes
  It will take you ages to craft enough dyes to get ride of all the materials you got from salvaging! However this seems to be the best possibility…

So all that i can do is waste hours of my playtime to craft dyes O.O

Why this post?
I would like to suggest to the devs to introduces another vendor, that makes it possible to trade all the PvP crafting materials into PvE crafting materials.
A vendor seems to be something that can be implemented fast and easy. I understnad that you do not want to waste reources on this “problem”. But please dont just delete all the items.

And because crafting materials are not the only useless stuff we got in PvP, please also think about the large amout of finishers and rank tokens! Could we plz get a possibility to exchange them for something else?

If you got other ideas (Players) or plans (Devs) what to do with all this stuff, share your ideas with me

Here’s my wish list: Introduce a recipe for finishers that gives you one of the current gem store finishers at random as a limited use item.

Well…ideally, I’d like to see a way to sell the stuff for gold.

They said we’d be able to vendor them… but .. like. .for how much man?…

i did same like OP yesterday and now after crafting all dyes i still have tons useless materials i never can use like all the armor tokens or arcane crystals or this deer dolyak wolf tiger tokens

give it a vendor value – atleast some coppers so i can do something with this^^

Vendor value for these would be great, can’t see them ever taking off on the TP.. As they are useless.

These are all great points. I have so many items from the pvp armor that I have it adding up in my personal vault. I have maxed out the pvp locker and filling up space in my vault just as fast. I play about 70% TPvP and 20% pve stuff and I have a lot saved up from pvp and I don’t want all that hard work to go to waste. I sure do hope them allow us to gain some benefits from breaking down all those items of a year +. I think a vendor that would maybe trade you a special chest for your stacks of stuff. Like in each chest is a small amount of silver, luck, and some crafting items that spill over into pve. I don’t care really about the what as I do about my stuff i have farmed from hours of pvp tournaments and solo queues. I don’t want these items to just be gone one day. I would like to see some sort of value assigned so i can trade this stuff in before the deadline.

I really like the idea of selling skins- Maybe even a place to trade in ones you have for ones you don’t have.

I hope some clarification comes. I have 15 stacks of 250 dust among many other pvp materials gained by breaking down the rewards. I also own almost one of every armor and weapon skin and would hate to lose my stock pile. I think about this situation every night when I play and every time I break stuff down in pvp I fear its all a waste. I wish someone could shed some light on this matter!

Dyes have a very bad conversion rate should be more equal between the mats (like for exp. 10 of each). Also you can’t really collect skins since you mostly get them anway after a few weeks and opening isn’t worth it so you just keep collecting treasure chests and wait for some living world event to come. (like for exp. for the molten facility gloves)

Sorry, but your post is just a troll post… obviously you dont know what the problem is!
I assume you are a very buissy man, so i will summarize:
1.) We all got WAY to much crafting materials to only use them for crafting skins!
2.) The BIG problem are NOT the ones that we can use for crafting dyes! Even if the terrible design of the mystic forge sucks hard and shows how bad the design actually is! Did you ever tried to craft 250 dyes? Plz feel free to do it! As long as you have not done it, don’t comment on this!
3.) The big problem are the ones we really cant use! All the finishers (i got more than 200 tiger finishers) and the rank tokens (2 or 3 stacks tournament tokens).

So please don’t troll post again! If you want to troll us make all this crap sellable for 1copper… And we will say “Ty, Evan!”

Buying consumable tokens or Arcane Converters (whichever comes first) is a really terrible way to spend glory atm. Making Dyes are not really an option when Glory can be used to purchase the Giant Gift Packages and selling them.

The opportunity cost renders all powder, orbs, crystals, slivers, tokens and everything else a waste of space.

I have 2 charakters with total of 4×18 bags and 2 large backpaks full of pvp crap – chests dust, silver, orbs, tokes oo god sooo much tokens boosters and so on. What will happen with this will i get finaly somthing of worth for all of this tournemnet wins i had over the last year. WHAT IS GOING ON WITH THIS QUALIFICATION POINTS WILL THEY BE WORTH SOMTHING ???

So, you say the items are worthless. Someone comes in and reminds you that you can still use them up with extra crafts (which you could also then turn around and salvage) or to make dyes. No, it’s not an efficient use of time/money, but you want a use for them. So there you go.

If you still don’t want to do it, don’t do it. Just delete them.

As for finishers, can’t you just double click to use them anyway even if you have the infinite finisher unlocked?
