Q:
What happens to multiple PvP skins?
A:
Dupes will do nothing more than a single wardrobe unlock. The transmutation charges you’ll get on April 15th will be based on your new PvP rank and not based on items.
Bra (80 Guard), Fixie Bow (80 Ranger), Wcharr (80 Ele)
Xdragonshadowninjax (80 Thief)
How will you be screwed? They will stay the same except you won’t have to pay transmutation charges for another of the same piece on a different character cause you already have the duplicate.

Cush: because if I’m understanding Evan correctly he’s nicely saying that the dupes will simply be deleted on April 15th, correct? Can’t I just save the excess skins in my inventory without needing to spend trans charges? If I already earned the extra skins I should be allowed to use them without any additional transmutation cost. This really hurts us who pvp’d a lot to earn the extra pvp skins across all of our characters. For example, on my necromancer alone I have 40 pvp skins in my inventory. That means if I wanted to keep all these different skin sets on him I’d be blowing through most of the charges I’ll be given for my current rank. It’s no secret that you guys are being vague on how trans charges will be acquired through in-game play. Yes, they’ll be a static reward within the reward track system, but how time consuming will that be, really? We can read between the lines, they’ll be difficult to attain in the game so you can cash grab gem purchases.
So here’s the problem, I’m even going to solve it for you Sir Lesh Prince. I have all 8 of my characters decked out in PvP gear. I’m rank 43. That means I’m only allotted 43 transmutation charges. Since you (Arenanet) intend to wipe all pvp items off of characters on the 15th we should be given one charge per item, not rank based and excluding the default pvp skins. If you change this the new design will be much more fairly put in place.
Since some of the developers have a hard time grasping PvP let’s put the shoe on another foot. Let’s pretend stat’s weren’t an issue and we were going to delete all earned PvE gear that was duplicated across a players account. What kind of feedback do you think you would receive for doing that?

What about dupes of gemstore items?

Same deal from what I understand. So yeah, if you bought multiple sets from gem store, your getting shafted

You should submit a ticket to CS and ask for a refund for duplicate armor sets.

Do we need to wait until patch to submit the ticket? I have profane armor on my female ele and male thief.

Yes, wait until after the patch goes live. The part about forum posts was directed at those posting in the Account Issues sub-forum.

For the chargers, I know it’s based on rank, but is it multiply by how many characters we have?
For example, I’m rank 42 (45ish after patch) with 15characters.
Am I going to get 45 chargers or 675 charges (45 × 15)?
If only 45 chargers, then I can only skin 5 characters…
Please clarify.
Thanks

I can’t wait until the patch goes live, all of my PvP gear will most likely vanish as well as my crafting materials, therefore, any possibility of me salvaging all of my duplicate items for crafting materials to create other skins will be nonexistent. I need answers now.
