The thing that truly grinds my gears is having the 5 signet great sword warrior on my team and then him calling everyone noobs after we get destroyed

Or having that awesome condi thief with 3 venoms in a RANKED game – WTF!?

Nothing is more OP than these garbage players – Playing this game solo in PvP is no longer fun and simply infuriating – If I do not have players to party with I no longer Q which is sad

Being teamed with; literally noobs, as OP stated. For a soloQ player like myself, there’s no way to raise my MMR high enough to be placed with higher skilled players.

I have no issues with noob team vs noob team… and i’m on one of the teams. It makes for a challenging game actually. It’s being on a team that’s 10x more “new” than the opposing team. That’s when the game gets frustrating..

Oh kitten ! That reminds me! Played with a dual pistol sworddagger thief the other day. Had the nerve to blame the rest of the team for failing when they did complete crap LOL.

I hate logging off on a bad note so I tend to keep playing until I feel as though I’ve had a match where both teams felt strong and I either won or lost based on our cumulative merit and not people being new, bad, or unsportsmanlike.

I usually leave to go play Dota 2 or Heroes of the Storm if my queue is longer than 7-ish minutes. I don’t mind the current meta at the lower level of matchmaking since there aren’t enough good cele abusers out there to make me “ragequit”. turret engie cheese doesn’t anger me at all since the builds I happen to play counterplay that. ive also begun entering soloq with the mentality that ive already lost the game, which allows me to not cuss out my teammates and have some fun instead.

be nice to people guys. degrading someone definitely wont teach them a lesson, or make them into better players. even asking them politely or commenting on their builds is unnecessary. it’s soloq and people who play whatever and however they want. simple as that. if you want them to learn, inspire them or wait for them to ask.

What makes me log off for the day?

When it’s getting late and it’s time to go to bed.

I don’t let things like turret engi’s or celstial d/d eles put me in a bad mood. Sometimes I die, sometimes I don’t. It’s not that big of a deal. When I pvp queue times don’t cause me to rage quit. I’m not going to let other players dictate how I spend my time in game, or influence my fun. But thats just me….

I enter games, I play to win, I come in expecting to win, I expect everyone else to be a newb compared to me.
I look at the other team, and switch to counter them.
I than let all the people on the other team I counter KNOW, they gonna get there kitten wooped.
Also, if theres one guy like an engy on the other team and I counter all the other players on that team by playing medi guard, and I have a ranger on my team. I let everyone know that my ranger BEST be a power ranger to counter the engy, because if he playing something other than power ranger, than hes doing it wrong.

This game wants to make it all about serious, and all about winning. Hence I play all serious and all about winning.

Those fun 8v8 days, not about winning, just about having fun following zerg and tagging and what not, having fun trying to get a crazy high personal score…. Those days all gone, the development teams prefers smaller scale, more serious (play to win, you get points/ rewards based on W/L not about having fun and enjoying game), type of games now, so I’ll play to what the development team wants.

Expect RAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAGE when you play games with me, cuz we gotta win, all day all night. Nobody got time for people playing junkie builds, only play builds that GW2 developers expect to win, turret engies, medi guards and power rangers. Bunkery warriors and eles too if you are good at them. Nobody got time to lose games because you played a junk build. Theres no more fun in this game, nothing but serious nowdays.

Try to keep this civil and blur out peoples names :p

Usually it’s the late-afternoon EU lag.

It seems that I have a plan for the night.
I always join unranked arenas.
I always stay at 50%+10 or 20 wins.
I always go for 10 000 PVP EXP for the night. 2 nights = lvl up
When I`m done with the planned games, I`m done for the night.

I can handle “funny” builds.
I can handle “funny” players.
I know that I`m not the best at the arena, but I try hard to be something.

Yeah. There are times when a turret engineer is a good choice to play as or even the most optimal, but it’s certainly not the only good build and it’s definitely not the best all the time.

Welp, just happened now and would like to add. Getting 2+v1 constantly while being chilled and crippled as a staff elementalist. Cant even cc them all cause stability and my laughable damage. -.-

Oh yeah, stacked class teams. Played with triple mesmers and triple engys (myself as engy) just wrecked face. Also faced against a triple mesmer team and got my face eaten.

Usually after about 4 or 5 bad matches in a row… Well assuming I’ve done my dailies already.

When I solo queue and face a partial premade or full premade with a full pug… It’s always a landslide victory. I check teams to see if join party is an option and notice 4 friends and 1 random on their side and our side is all randoms why is this even a thing

How can you tell it’s a four-man party and not two two-man party? Cause that’s common.

Queue times, bad matches, anytime RNG/AI/passive mechanics are obvious.
