Why do MMO's keep making the same business model mistake?
agree. as i stated since release, i can give anet time till day after tomorrow. a month(and some days) will be passed. they will have no excuses to not patch and balance and fix the game after that day…
because of publishers, thanks NCSoft & Activision
That’s about the gist of it. “When it’s ready” and all that is really just so fans don’t get upset at the proposed release date, or any delays. They always have an internal release date and receive pressure from their publishers. The publishers want it out the door quickitteno get a return on their investment, etc.
Apparently quickly and to with a space in between is censor-worthy.

QFT, especially the bolded part.
In one word; money. The publisher is worried that if the game is in development for too long, it won’t sell as many copies, and then they’ll lose investors.

if you could name any game with a balanced release, I would be more sympathetic.
1) it takes time to balance a game
2) even if a game is balance,d there will still be cries of OP because the person saying OP hasn’t found the counter.
How is Diablo III an MMO with only 4 players are allowed in a game?
