Why do MMO’s like diablo 3 and Guild wars 2 release games before they are ready? I am talking in terms of pvp. We saw the same thing with blizzard and because of it I (and many many others) simply lost interest in the game. If blizzard released amazing pvp tomorrow I wouldn’t even get an urge to play it because I simply LOST INTEREST. Also, look at the result of blizzards sales in their new expansion. I Can promise some part of that is due to the epic fail of diablo 3 and pvp.

Basically, I am ranting because I am losing interest for guild wars 2. Releasing pvp in its current state was a horrible idea. With all these promises of amazing e-sport pvp and nothing to show for it at this point in the game is inexcusable. I have no reason to log in until pvp updates are implemented, but I may just lose interest all together just like diablo 3. Im sure I will not be missed but I needed to take a moment and vent. Thanks for listening.

That’s about the gist of it. “When it’s ready” and all that is really just so fans don’t get upset at the proposed release date, or any delays. They always have an internal release date and receive pressure from their publishers. The publishers want it out the door quickitteno get a return on their investment, etc.

Apparently quickly and to with a space in between is censor-worthy.

In one word; money. The publisher is worried that if the game is in development for too long, it won’t sell as many copies, and then they’ll lose investors.

if you could name any game with a balanced release, I would be more sympathetic.

1) it takes time to balance a game

2) even if a game is balance,d there will still be cries of OP because the person saying OP hasn’t found the counter.

How is Diablo III an MMO with only 4 players are allowed in a game?
