could 5v5v5 be fun?
I remember HA from GW1, that had some maps where 3 teams had to fight each other (8v8v8) and was one of the best PvP modes in game.
In here, I don’t really think it would work that great. I try to picture such situation in WvW and it actually seemed like a mess of random procs and ganks everywhere. The lack of trinity gives a chance for everyone to just jump into a zerg and try something and bail out when things get messy.
Could 5v5v5 be fun for a SPvP mode?
How should scoring work?
I heard that HoT will bring you this feature. Seem interesting.
where did you hear that?
sure it could be fun, but i would say 5 v 5 v 5 v 5 would be even better !!!
back in the original guild wars 1, during its first year, there was a
8 vs 8
vs
8 vs 8
vs
8 vs 8
3 groups of 2 would first duke it out in their own mini arena, once a team is annihilated, the gates would open up then they can go outside to defeat the other 2 winners.
aaaah epic moments.

aye, this map had 6 teams originally.

Horrible idea in game with stealth.
In other words, a mini WvWvW clash…..
I don’t think it would. I think it would be everyone waiting for the other 2 teams to start fighting so they can gank the winner. That happens in WvW too – just a big standoff until someone gets impatient.
3v3v3 after playing the new overthrown dota2 custom game mode, I am in love with the format.

You could stop that from happening with good map design.
Put something important, like an arrow cart off to the side. Then if somebody doesn’t want to engage, they lose.
