Guild Wars 2

since the last patch it has been ridiculous difficult trying to find a game.
every match is full and clicking “play now” will repeatedly stick you in courtyard DMs and skyhammer rank farms.
i feel like i spend more time clicking “play now” than actually playing.
its extremely frustrating that a system that worked fine has been removed and replaced with this.

before the patch it was nice and easy to find a fun game, simply click the 8v8s,
it was nice and simple, removing them makes no sense.

i know not everyone was a fan of 8v8, but nothing is forcing those people to join in.
the 8v8 servers were always full and removing them was a serious mistake.

please give them back!

nothing forced anyone to play 8v8, but many of us enjoyed it and its removal was a really bad move. the servers were always full so clearly many of us enjoyed it.

since they removed the official 8 vs 8 servers, i started playing casual team arena 5 vs 5 with my casual guild members now. we usually play around 4 games per night.
we win some, we lose some.

1st night – 3 wins (foefire, forest, temple) / 1 lost (kyhlo)
2nd night – 2 wins (temple, temple) / 2 loses (kyhlo, forest)
tonight would be our 3rd night.
hopefully we get some good games as well.

too bad about official 8 vs 8 removed though.

on the bright side, the solo arena regulars is more happier now since the queue times would be much shorter as there are a lot more players now.

Tbh, 8v8’s should be on bigger maps. The current maps are most suitable for 3v3 4v4 and 5v5.

I’ve only been put into the Deathmatch map twice by clicking play now…

Most times it puts me in games that are like 2v2 or 2v1 lol
