"no valid path" on back port
I agree with this. It’s extremely annoying. Sure there are some well known locations where to place wurm but it’s still so limiting and it just shouldn’t be.
Fixerino pls.
The problem with making them actual teleports is that people could get into an enclosed location and get out without problems. Like getting inside a room that gets closed after you enter.

just code the room differently then.
seriously this has to stop
How about: Revert it to the way, it used to work? If you can’t be returned to the point, you will just be teleported halfway there?
The mob has spoken and the turrets shall be burnt at the stake.
Don’t worry, it’ll be fixed in three years time.
yeah i hate this. on skyhammer i tried to port over one of the floor panels that disappear, and after the 3rd time i just gave up and died.

+1 Appropriate time for another expansion.

The problem with that is that it takes longer to find paths like that.
Ideally, if a path can’t be found, the system would have to trace the path all the way to the target, then send the skill user to the farthest possible way on that path, either the spot where the distance runs out (e.g.: Used up all the 1200 distance units running through that path), or when an impassable obstacle is found (eg.: a wall or the border of a platform).
But that’ll take way more CPU cycles than a mere “I can’t reach there, I do nothing else”.
